How can someone be both transgender and nonbinary?
Doesn’t transgender necessarily imply the changing of one’s psychological sexual identification to that opposite of their physical body?
And doesn’t nonbinary mean they don’t identify as either male or female?
So how can someone be ‘non-gendered’ and at the same time be ‘trans-gendered’?

You basically nailed it. You can't be nonbinary and transgenderd. Transgender implies two genders (or more, I suppose, but that's even more bullshit) and moving between the two. Nonbinary implies you are in some magical superposition between the two states. To claim to be both suggests that you are one gender, moving to the magical superposition state, which basically puts you well within the realm of attention whore or lifestyle fetishist.

I have to anonymize this a lot so sorry if the below seems a bit choppy.
Long story short the one that stands out most was a girl (we'll call her Janie) and the mother was the type who saw her child as like, a little doll, if that makes sense.
If you met the kid on her own you'd think she was spoiled, but then you learned more about her home life and realized her mom was completely fucking her over in terms of social development.
As an example of the kind of shit this mother would pull, I heard though the grapevine that Janie didn't get to choose who was invited to her house and things like that, so the mom would do things like invite Janie's bullies to her birthday party or send Janie to local youth groups even though they weren't Christian.
Janie ended up developing a complex where she had no idea how to say no, so she'd go along with things until she was backed into a corner then lash out at her friends and classmates. She was also once caught hurting herself on school grounds because she'd made someone upset and was panicking over it thinking she needed to be punished so her reasoning was that she'd do it to herself and if she cut herself or something then the other girl would forgive her.
