Because it’s the closest thing to a public execution of a condemned criminal one can get in this country. And every pundit wants nothing more than Trump’s head on a pike to serve as a warning to anyone who dares stop the road to their progressive utopia.

Also if Trump gets acquitted, then he ain't getting publicly executed. (INB4 Assassination comments.)

Open borders, gay marriage, none of the police practices that led to the deaths of those like George Floyd or Breonna Taylor in order to create a thriving sector of minorities across the land, statues of those historical figures who have been known to have been oppressors removed and replaced with those deemed to be on the right side of history and contributed to that side along with the deaths that BLM sought to avenge, LGBT rights across the board, a post #MeToo state of industries where all the problematic men and women have been canceled, blacklisted, and bolted out, MAGA people put in reeducation camps to conform and contribute to "the new normal" along with the more vocal ones forced to face the Trump Accountability Project and the Trust and Reconciliation Commission to figure out what to do with them up to and including execution akin to tribunals post WW2, and probably some shit regarding gun control. I'm probably missing things, but this is off the top of my head.

They're treating it like an actual case like everyone doesn't already know the outcome. And they opened with an hour of jibber-jabber about it being constitutional, which should already be established by the fact it's even happening at all. If there was any serious argument about that particular issue the Supreme Court would have been the proper forum to stop it outright, which they wouldn't have done.

So they start out, in a trial which is purely media circus bullshit, with a bunch of tedious legal minutiae nobody gives a flying fuck about and immediately lost my attention, and I'm even semi-interested in that kind of shit. I can't imagine how bored normies were by it. Way to have a complete wet fart of a trial and make nobody care about it.

Or maybe that's on purpose. If I were doing something as embarrassing, pointless, and stupid as this impeachment I wouldn't want anyone watching it either. It's just masturbatory virtue signaling.

I thought gay marriage was achieved. What more do these assholes want? Half the shit they're trying to achieve is something they better not be mad about if they loose 2022. I keep suspecting that when the lockdowns are over they can't rely on mail in ballots forever.
