It's asinine. The Last Jedi came out in 2017, going on four years ago now - LucasFilms took the Star Wars franchise, gutted everything about it people loved and called anyone who complained about it a Nazi. Anyone who would come crawling back to them after that kind of treatment because of "baby yoda" is a cuck.
The YouTubers who complain the loudest are ironically able to do the least since their whole business model involves consuming, disseminating and being completely dependent on a steady supply of official Star Wars content. The audience they preach to actually no longer watching the corporate slop these people complain about, or simply turning to each for entertainment would be like a car suddenly no longer having gas.
I give it 3-4 weeks tops before they're back to gossiping about imaginary LucasArts backroom politics made up by Doomcock or how some "renegade" LucasArts director is now making good Star Wars content flying in the face of the sinister board of Disney executives.
