I recently unsubscribed from Karl (because let's face it it isn't Karl & Ian anymore), when the tacticool tranny Q&A was announced. The Discord screencaps (the real ones, not the /k/ edits) where Karl whines about more successful Youtubers are just so good and prove so much about him as a person. My main takeaway is Karl was always like this, but becoming moderately Internet famous (300k subs is no small feat) has made him more comfortable being himself and well, being himself is about as insufferable as you can get. There's a lot of old IRTV videos I really like, the SAPI armor testing, the WW2 explosive bullet testing, testing reproduction German WW1 trench armor, the earlier Old West vignettes, even the mud tests, were good solid videos that were entertaining and informative. Curious how the quality declined alongside Ian's involvement! But I'm sure that's just a coincidence, and I'm an evil /k/ and KF troll for daring to insinuate otherwise.

Also minor note about Sinistral Rifleman, idk if it's been posted already but he got perma'd from SA last year for defending Kyle Rittenhouse. He seems like a pretty good dude to me he's just not cut out to present video content.

Karl and Grossman are just two sides of the same retarded coin. They both need to stop huffing their own farts for a second if they actually want to convince anyone of anything other than how big of a retard they are.

No I quit the Discord a while back. I found out about this thread on /k/, during the course of searching the archives for people talking shit about Karl of course. Once I found it I figured I just had to get in on it.

It's a description lacking a word, and I agree. But I suppose it's more of an issue with someone's dedication to the mindset and the idolization of people he finds to be contemptible - ie horrifically murderous and apparently impotent Wyatt Earp, who he has a massive hateboner towards.

The be fair to Karl here, Grossman is kind of an idiot and his teachings are 99% of the reason why cops in the US are so triggerhappy and constantly blowing away suspects when they probably could resolve the situation without shooting anyone. His "killology" is honestly insane and basically guaranteed escalation in any situation, and cops all over the country were trained with his methods for years, not to mention Grossman's "video games and movies cause violence" stance. That doesn't make Karl any less of a fag though.

Not him but I first heard about josh and KF a few years ago when watching a metokur stream. When Ethan ralph released his guntape I decided to make an account, but it didn't work for some reason and I couldn't post. I searched the username of someone I used to cyberbully and found a thread about him here, went to post in it and my account worked.

I think Karl’s a bitch, but I still really, really don’t like this. YouTube is progressively muscling more and more to screw over channels they don’t want to promote and making as much money as possible off the content that they won’t allow the creators themselves to profit from.

It especially seems vindictive and pointless when they target other off-site streams of income. It sends a worrying message that they’d rather do this than ban certain people outright, all while still running ads on their content that they didn’t want and don’t get a dime for.

It’s scummy and wrong and Karl is right to complain about it, even if there is a work around for the time being.

It makes me think more and more that on some level any resentment between him and Ian might have been aggravated by Forgotten Weapon’s unwavering policy of gluing his lips firmly to Susan Wojcicki’s ass and trying to be YouTube’s best, safest gun content. Ian has dropped hints more than once that he has multiple people on the inside of YouTube that he maintains a good relationship with. I don’t blame the guy for trying to make a living in a relatively risky space, but it adds context to all those times he got visibly uncomfortable during InRange Q&A’s while Karl was grandstanding about being demonetized.

Karl is just styxhexenhammer666 with a (slightly) more developed idea of how to dress like a human being. He constantly moans about the fascistic cooperation between big industry and big government, which is definitely a real problem - but his big brained solution is use alt tech and make sure you vote. Definitely don't do any political activism, run for office, or build parallel society/structure that is actually sustainable or generative. The optics would be bad.

Karl is obviously extremely online, has anyone ever found handles that he uses other than his real name? I feel like he's probably a couple dedicated afternoons of autism away from his own Internet famous or animal control thread (I just get that furry vibe).

To be fair, it's not bad optics that prevents this, but a combination of limited resources, Lugenpresse libel campaigns, being sold out by cowards you thought were your allies, and Glowies subverting or outright Waco'ing you.

Karl sucks and all but that's fucked. Not like he can't just do a pinned comment as stated earlier, or put the link in the video itself for people to type in, or do the classic patreon DOT com gimmick in the video comments. It is super fucked what big tech is doing and while it is fun watching it happen to Karl, I really wish it wouldn't because that just means they'll do it to anybody. Karl genuinely has my sympathy here.

This is exactly why I use a different username everywhere I go and never use the same handle twice anywhere at any point in my life. I've been doing it for over 15 years now and it still boggles my mind when I see someone fuck themselves by not doing it. It's like using a different password for every website, it's just a no brainer to me. You gotta cover your ass. Karl probably has some gay hacker name he came up with in the 90s that he's been using all this time when not using his real name.
