so i've seen we've posted about that chaya chick in this thread before. she apparently has some virtual mechanic class that she advertises everywhere and got called out on spam, but of course she's allowed:

That's a lovely red evening dress*. I hope that's not what she's going to wear to her mechanics class? Why doesn't she ever wear mechanic clothes, like some good, grease-stained overalls, safety glasses and a hardhat or whatever? That would surely increase both her mechanic cred and her lesbian cred.

*OK not really. Elegant droops of fabric don't look so good when they have to be wide enough to cover those arms + torso.

I don't think she has to dress a certain way to prove her "lesbian cred." Either she's a lesbian or she's not, and either way she can still wear whatever she likes; she doesn't have to dress a certain way to prove it. But yeah, if you're going to teach people about cars, it really does help to look like you're okay with a bit of grease getting on your clothes.

Then again, from her own description of the class, it doesn't sound like she's teaching anything that can't easily be found in the owner's manual of any vehicle. Checking/adding oil or wiper fluid, checking tire pressure and adding air, and knowing what the dashboard warning lights mean? I guess the owner's manual is just not queer enough, so you need a fat, Jewish lesbian in a red dress to walk you through it.

Tbf, a lot of basic bitch people (men and women) don’t know how to do those things, even with a damn manual in the car. You’d be shocked how many young people know zero about maintaining the car they just got, unless some older adult or parent wrangles them and actually shows them. The legal right for people to get inside and drive a dangerous machine around all day without knowing anything of how to maintain it is kind of astounding. Even young men these days are told to just take it to a garage, rather than learn how to check or replace fluids.

Yeah, I agree that she doesn't have to dress in stereotypical 'dyke couture' to prove her Queerness, even if it's part of her brand. But, although I probably don't have enough lesbian cred myself to say this, the grubby overalls + toolbox is a hell of a lot sexier than this volcanic-overflow-of-bare-flesh Fat Glam look they're all doing to try and prove how sexy they are.

Sorry, I put that badly. Her being ugly is part genetic and not her fault, but also because her skin is shit-PCOS? Endo? I'm not sure but skin is an amazing health early warning system and hers is rough as heck- and the fact she wont sit that shows she wont look after herself.
