Its also worth mentioning that the woman being beaten in the street is actually in the Ukraine. She’s being attacked by Ukrainian nationalists outraged by the revelations of the mass murders carried out by the NKVD, whose leadership at the time was majority Jewish. At this stage the NKVD had carried on a sustained, fifteen-year campaign of spying, arrests, torture and murder against the Ukrainian nationalists.
So although the woman in question was very likely uninvolved with the NKVD and almost certainly undeserving of being beaten in the street, she was targeted due to her sharing collective guilt at a time when the world was on fire anyway. Understandable though inexcusable. Much like the summary gang rape and murder of German women and children at the orders of the predominantly Jewish Red Army commissars a few years later.
The Nazis had literally nothing directly to do with that photo.
