Rule 1 of helping people is don't be a hero when it puts you at risk of becoming a victim yourself. It just makes everyone's life harder. As for the donations... this is that. I'd love to contribute to the Patreon of YouTubers and whatnot who provide me with so much entertainment, and even education. But, I enjoy eating, having a home, and having a running car with fuel in it more than this.

I know what Lou is going for here. Lou is going for the "they'd give you the coat off their back" sentiment. Only thing is that this doesn't really work in this instance, and it will never work if you're robbing Peter to pay Paul. That is to say; you should always help yourself before you help someone else. This is exactly why they say in airline safety videos to put your own mask on before helping others. You are significantly more useful having taken care of yourself first, then assisting others when you're capable of doing so.

Just more shit I don't understand about Lou. I understand where they're coming from to a point, but everything just feels so incredibly faked. So you've donated to something that you think is a good cause? That's great! I'm all for it, but you don't need to tell the world about it. To me it kinda feels like taking selfies with the homeless in a soup kitchen. It's not exactly classy, and when you turn around literally seconds to minutes later and ask for money because you've just given it away, it makes you look like a massive fucking tool. That 'smile' right there points to his entire issue in life. He has cultivated an attitude which provides an endless river of convenient excuses and lies. If you cover his mouth and just look at his eyes you can clearly see very deep suffering and fear. Just imagine feeling the pain and heartache which goes on in his nervous system, day after day, year after year, living with such an extremely counter-productive attitude to his own aching soul. Anons who have spent long spells of time alone doing nothing productive know what I'm talking about.

I can understand that Lou is scared of facing his own problems. All of us have experienced dire or mundane problems where fear of discomfort keeps us from doing something good. It can even prevent us from doing shit we really need to do. I get that, I've been there, I have compassion for that.

What is harder for me to understand is how that fake-smile, playing animals with friends online, speaking his trans-tiger truth, owning the kiwis, how is this in any way medicine for his soul, and how is it enough to mentally survive on that year after year after year? I guess I know that it's not enough and that this is why he lashes out at people, this is why he tweets looking for a fight.

Paradoxically his anti-social behavior online is a symptom of health because it shows that he hasn't been able to delude himself 100% away from the reality of his life. Its him rattling the cage of his own creation.

Insanity aside, I honestly don't know what to think of this. It seems compassionate, and it's hard for me to get mad at supportive tweets and whatnot (Lou aside), but I just have to wonder if there's more to the story here, or if this is just a really weird way that they think they're being a friend. I guess they've never heard the phrase "sometimes, you've got to be cruel to be kind."

I've got some wonderful people in my life, but if I started doing a Lou, they wouldn't tolerate it for a second. I don't think anyone who cares about someone else would tolerate that behaviour. But, I guess this is why we're all here.

Looking through all these messages, I have sadly seen this sort of behavior before. Sadly because it was from a teenager who otherwise had no friends in school and had severe depression. It wasn't exactly like this, but they basically picked up certain habits that I eventually realized produced the effect of people being happy to see them- happy enough to let this kid exist in their friend crowd. Had they not done this, they were the socially awkward type that would have likely had zero friends. I believe that on some level, they knew exactly what they were doing and it was heartbreaking.

Being an online entity, I suspect Mr. Huuugs does this same thing for the same reasons in the only way he can. He runs around to people who will throw him scraps of attention and makes himself worth their time by providing unwavering emotional support and loyalty.

This explains why he hangs onto Lou. He is so desperate to feel valued and gets so little attention that even Lou's abuse is better than nothing.

That's my theory, anyway. It just looked so familiar.

That aside, what did Lou say to get that response of "ok, a bit tiring but ok"?

My thoughts regarding this is that yes, Lou is kissing up to Boozy again. Also Suedeer is a regular in Boozy's stream and her husband is one of Boozy's mods, so it's also a gesture to show how sorry Lou is for what he said.
