The court found that he was telling the truth about having no possessions, so they must agree that the money is "gone, just gone". Where would it just disappear to? He wasn't eating $50000 worth of food, or getting plastic surgery for his wife, or sending it all up his nose as drugs.

If he had assets (like Yacht Guy), they might have gone after them. But there are relatively few ways to just disappear money and get nothing in return.
