My pitch for a new TV show - A Bewitched reboot

Starring: Chuck Schumer and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Synopsis:
Watch this married couple go through twists and turns as they navigate witchcraft and domestic life. Just be careful though, Alexandria gets mad at Chuck sometimes and has to use her witchcraft to keep him in line, because, you know, men are like that. With a wrinkle of her nose, she manages to outsmart Chuck at every turn and proves that yes, women really are better than men. This isn’t your average reboot though. It is now on HBO and makes it much grittier than the Bewitched of before and offers social commentary on the patriarchy and white privilege, as well as steamy sex scenes that will just get you and your partner hot and bothered. You won’t want to miss this show.

RATED MA for nudity, sex scenes and profanity. Viewer discretion is advised.

So what do you all think? I think this show will offer excellent social commentary while providing sex scenes that everyone wants. It’s on HBO, so it’s okay. In the comments, please add suggestions of what I should add. Thank you!

I’m thinking of keeping the casting the same, but I would love to add a black trans woman to the cast. She should be Muslim too. I think the black trans woman will have a few episodes dedicated to her and include the struggles of misogyny, racism, transphobia and Islamophobia. I’m thinking of setting this love story at the start of the Trump era as a prologue and Chuck being introduced to AOC when she gets into the House in 2018. Chuck will fall in love with AOC on the spot and divorce his wife to be with her. This will be a perfect show that I think is necessary for this era. Too many white supremacists exist and this show can help end white supremacy by giving them empathy.

Disability representation will be there. Some of Chuck’s and AOC’s staffers will be amputees, hard of hearing and/or have autism. Additionally, there will be at least one wheelchair user as a regular cast member. To make it even more inclusive, disabled sex scenes will happen as well, to show that disabled people can and do have sex regularly. Despite AOC herself being a witch and having some ability to help the ailments, she will be shown her place in a few episodes when she tries to cure them using witchcraft and be told that not everyone wants their disabilities gone because it makes them who they are and forms their identity.

AOC is actually neurotypical, which is why she is problematic in a few episodes when she tries to use her witchcraft to help some of her staffers with their autism, ADHD, BPD, etc. AOC being neurotypical gives her learning moments that viewers need to see. It will help teach them intersectionality better.

• She’s both a housewife and a career woman. She can do it all, and it’s especially easy because of her witchcraft (that she has to keep a secret from Trump because he will try to use her to bring forth his evil plans) . Her career is bartender at first, before she becomes a House representative. Not long after becoming that, Schumer gets bewitched by her and divorces his wife so they can marry (events leading up to this include very hot make out sessions and hot sex in their offices)
• Her magic allows her to do things most people can’t accomplish in a day, which allow her to write up amazing legislation in a short amount of time, and due to witchcraft, is able to use spells to charm people into agreeing with everything she says
• Her hobbies are using her magic to fight for justice and knitting by hand because she likes to do a few things by hand to pass more as a human. Her keeping her witchcraft a secret except for a few people is supposed to be commentary on how it feels to be a closeted gay or trans person

I’m thinking that in order to have as much representation as possible, AOC and Schumer should be polyamorous. I don't think it will work if Schumer is polyamorous as well. AOC gets to be the polyamorous one and there could be an episode in which Schumer complains about AOC's sluttery, but it will turn out that it's actually Schumer who is in the wrong because being a total slut is empowering.

That’s an excellent idea. Also, I think the orgies with The Squad will attract viewers and help them be more accepting of alternative forms of love. Thank you so much. Producers will love it.
