It's a Patreon rant, which I also thought he abandoned so it's a 2 for 1 surprise :biggrin: Digi's deepest thought on the show is, I shit you not, that "this show would be better to me as a series of screen caps and gifs." Essentially he watched the first episode, didn't hate it but didn't love it, and then shat out this 5 minute video. How much were those rant tiers on Patreon again? :story:

Mahoujin Guru Guru is a great show, Conrad did it a disservice. He could've talked about how it's a Dragon Quest parody that readapts a much older series made back when the Dragon Quest hype was at its highest in Japan in the Super Famicom era, he could've talked about how this series even had its own Super Famicom game that plays just like Dragon Quest, he could've talked about how this remake adapts the entire series unlike the previous adaptations and so on. But instead he got paid to give the most half-assed take of all time.

You know they're struggling when Nate has to bring in his literally-who girlfriend and even have her take Digi's place in the thumbnail. Content creators who feature their less talented less charismatic girlfriends is usually a sign of their decline in quality.

You expect a love bombed drugged up HRT-doing Digi to still even remotely have any enthusiasm for researching and analyzing anime?

The attack on titan videos are the only digi content I watch these days and I've got to say he's the worst part of them. Sat there looking like a fat white sperg Yoko Ono in his autism glasses, literally screeching "kantent" going full tard-yoko. What must be going through bitch-tits mclift's head when that's happening? God I hope for his sake he's investing the ad-sense in metals.

A bit offtopic, but what has been r/anime opinion about him becoming what he is now? They hated him so much that they perma banned him for "self-promotion" even tho others are allowed to post their own Videos. I always found it funny how they tried not to talk about him, because he was that controversial.

Digi saying he wants to do a 'old skool deep analysis" on the show might be code for "I'll have Nate do the research". Though I agree that it is far more likely that he'll just fluff it up with a lot of flowery nonsensical meta "feelings". I don't think he still had it in him.

Back when Digi's life was still together, he said he found AoT pretty boring, and that its practically the Japanese "Walking Dead". If that was his stance back then, what makes you think the Digi now has anything interesting to say about it? Oh, and don't worry: Digi's allegedly gained around $600 in bitcoin - money that definitely won't be squandered in any way.

I don't browse reddit, nor do I find their users' opinions interesting, but what I have seen on /a/ is that he's pretty much reviled and made fun of there to the same extent as here if not more so.

Most /r/anime redditors, or weebs in general, get into and out of anime again in less than 2 years. They didn't watch anime at the height of his popularity and wouldn't know who the fuck this "Digibro" even is. He's hardly ever mentioned on /r/anime these days.

Case in point: Searching for "Digi". Half of thesse threads aren't even about him.

If twitter is any indication, Conrad is mostly remembered as the "I like pictures of little girls being fucked" guy and/or by people who - years later! - are still mad that he hated their favorite cartoon (typically SAO, Jojo, Shin Sekai Yori). They're still discovering he trooned out.

Looks like I'll not be listening to the newest Khantent after all. Why don't people understand that if your GF is not a core part of your channel that some people get annoyed at you dragging them in the frame. To give Michelle the benefit of the doubt though, is she were to replace Digi this episode I wouldn't have minded, but still, it just makes it awkward having a real vagina and a pretend vagina in the same room, even more so if it's Digi.

Funny how things tend to stick. Maybe yelling that fact out to Dick was like his coming out. You could really hear him say it with such guilty glee. I think that's why it stuck - it came straight from the heart. Even though HE wanted to be the little sister in the (receiving) end. I don't think he's a threat though, aside from the stupid meta rambling that no one should listen to.

I was also not surprised that he flipped his shit when he reviewed Shin Sekai Yori as it's the quintessential anti ADHD show and it's mostly atmosphere and dialog. I still like the show, well more so the manga as the art is better. Does it have moments where it's campy as hell? Sure, but that's most anime for ya.
