It's entirely unclear on what would be required at this point, and he seems to be aware of this so he has refrained from making any statements beyond "if this support continues" and now the return of "we just need to make it to the 15th" again. Visions of the future have been left quite vague.
Phil has mentioned that his car payments, the back tax payment plan, and the CT condo fees are his lingering issues, but all of those are expenses that can be reasonably covered by his income, and of those, only the condo fees are something that could be deemed 'extra' or somehow unjust (from Phil's perspective). Most households have to pay for a vehicle and taxes. He also seems to still not grasp that if the taxes have gone up because he made more money, then he should have more money to pay the taxes. They don't raise 1:1 and take all the additional income, but for his narratives to work this would have to be the case.
He said repeatedly that the vest streak was unprecedented support and it won't happen again, and OiC has turned into a second E7 at this point... and this still wasn't enough to even make ends meet, let alone save. So where are the earnings supposed to go from here?
We know the reality is that Phil just scales his spending to match his income - it's the only explanation why he can't afford his taxes. But if we just removed spending/Champions from the equation, and believed Phil's reasonable expenses, taxes included, actually somehow exceed his earnings, then he is saying that he needs well over $150k just to cover everything and make ends meet. Phil needs to make 2.5x the income of the average American household to make ends meet, while he lives in a middle unit condo with no kids and has had all of his debt wiped clear.
But he is an underdog who deserves support over rich streamers. And his whales are apparently cool with this idea. And we're mentally ill and don't understand how the world works.
He's sort of run out of wiggle room here, which is probably why he has suddenly started to go nuts about the Farms and Champions... our stories now make more sense than his.

The way it has been going the goal is usually hit towards the end of a stream, then he stalls putting it on, and eventually puts on the vest for a round of Cod and clocks out.
As someone who doesn't care if Phil hits a goal or not the funniest thing the paypigs could do on the first day is hit the goal during prestream forcing him to either wear two vests or go back on his word exposing this charade the very first day. The best Phil can get now a days is watching him sweat it out during a low tip stream, but one day of him sweating it out a different way wouldn't hurt.

Anytime I see a correlation made between phil and a saga I always think to myself; Romance of the Three Kingdoms, The Lord of the Rings, Buddenbrooks, Star Wars or House of Earth. These all have the makings of a saga. I tend to believe (or hope) that people are using it here somewhat ironically, Phil. However the implication of a saga stems from your own daily narrative contortions, for in the absence of anything remotely interesting going on in your life you seem to experience any level of alteration to your schedule as a seismic shift that calls for vitriol, crahcadile tears and most crucially of all - another round of DarkSymp(athy)Phil Donations.
I imagine it's one of the main reasons you're living the way you are these days. It's almost innocent and childlike that you don't seem to ever anticipate any bumps in the road. If you did then maybe you would have started putting some money by for a rainy day; maybe you'd know what a rainy day fund actually referred to instead of zoning out and rubbing your dinger with your WWF trading card collection back in St Sexnegative's Only Child School.

You're right phil you don't really have any sagas in the true sense of the word, we just wish you did because you're really fucking boring and the only way many can continue to get anything out of you (myself included) is due to the sacrifice made by the detractor news network here and on twitter.
