cba to look it up, but heart related and traffic deaths for the US were not low either (or even higher, can't remember), that's why I said for a year now we need to stop producing sugar and only allow essential cars. can't have people literally dying in the street. every life counts!
ofc they're are not literally sugar water, they would still need to hold up to scrutiny. but how would you measure the effectiveness of it, who could then report on it?
in the end it doesn't really matter how effective it is, because politicians around the globe need the vaccine as the shiny keys for distraction and numbers going down one way or another (if we know most of the numbers were bullshit, you can bet they do too).

My prediction is that by the summer UK banks, insurance companies and estate agents will have 'covid fees' that will be completely made up sums of money for completely made up reasons. They will all agree to implement them at the same time and will try their luck at whatever amount they can get away with, as they know you will be stuffed if you don't, and after a few years and lots of complaints/court challenges they will be made to remove them. Nice earner while it lasts, mind and plenty of lives finacially ruined.
