kinda new here althought been lurking for quite a while now, just wanna ask because I'm kinda curious about the thing with Calli that seems like everyone always talk about, is there something interesting with her?

Since the kids have had their fun I'll step in and give a proper answer so you don't have to spend all weekend reading the thread and can prepare for your date with your bodypillow.

There isn't just one "interesting thing" going on with Calli, more like her entire body of work has given us a lot of shit to go on when it comes to how she acts under the persona. As Demondice, she made a lot of music that shifted between shitting on the rap industry, shitting on America, memey bullshit, and really introspective stuff regarding her own experiences and relationships. I'm not gonna say Karen's an incredibly complicated individual (to me, she isn't) but what we know about her is basically that she started out publicly as an edgy mall goth basic white trash bitch then grew up a little. so now she's a more intelligent edgy mall goth basic white trash bitch who had her heart broken and her dreams crushed a few times before getting a big break when joining Hololive. A few people here, myself included, really like her because both her attitude and her music can be seen as relatable; her most recent track echoed a ton of sentiments we have here regarding the ENVyTubers and TBAs. The reason she comes up every couple of days in the form of a doompost is because the divide between Calliope Mori and Demondice is about as thin as Calli's veil. She's called herself "Karen" a few times by accident and basically does not give a fuck at this point how many people know she's also Dice, but so long as she doesn't out herself explicitly she's gonna just dance along that line. Probably the biggest instance of that was getting AO to mix her latest track, and anyone who spends 2 fucking seconds watching Calli draw and then going to AO's channel will immediately recognize the style; not to mention the fact that she supposedly wrote several songs about wanting to date the guy and nothing coming out of it, or the fact that she's worked with him a few times before as Demondice.

The reason she comes up every couple of days in the form of a doompost is because the divide between Calliope Mori and Demondice is about as thin as Calli's veil. The chans for some reason don't like her all that much but I've seen her around and people I know have spoken to her and she's actually just a big fan who may be a bit too transparent despite keeping it under wraps as best she can.

I do follow all 4 of them but whenever Karen posts something as DDK I regard it as something completely different from when she does something under Calliope Mori of Hololive EN; the only time it got difficult is when the dumbass decided to say that she's doing Internet content creation full-time on both her accounts, which is a huge red flag considering the DemonDice account post something every 2 weeks or so. Most people under DDK were good enough to preserve the kayfabe and say vague shit like "I hope whatever you're doing works out for you" and then, because Karen was a dumbass and posted roughly the same message the same day under Calli, went over there to congratulate her on leaving her "reaping job" to do hololive full time. People are gonna connect the dots regardless. It's a bit harder to do so in Keeki's case since she doesn't wear a shirt 24/7 that says "I AM NOT KIARA WINK WINK" and keeps her lives heavily divided.

Also, Coco seems to have bounced back and I honestly wonder how anyone can hate this woman.

Untrue. The charater you refer to and Subaru have only 3 days(or week?) apart indebut date. Their sound is quite similar, so people does spread the rumor at first. But after checking their debut time and that Subaru has said that her sister is a streamer, the current rrat is that the Vtuber is her irl sister.

Coco has pull the shonen move and believe in the people who believe in her and let the known/very active fan become mods for the day, with extreme effectiveness. The server I was in was pretty much go full "EXTERMINATUS" "BURN ALL THE HERETIC" when they realize one of them have the moderation power. It was amazing.
For the reason she suddenly make this move, I think she just got tired of all the corperate paperwork and process bullshit. Last night, she was active in Twitter for hours asking for fan who got banned from her channel to contact her directly and she will fix it then and there. Maybe she realize that instead of waiting for Cover/Youtube to fix their shit, she should let her simp do the work.
The result speak for itself since the chat is pretty much bug free for the entire day. She even joke about it in the SC reading that she doesn't see them anymore, so the fans start to make long SC and encouragement text that look like spam to fill the chat.

Dice has 4 entire albums dating back to 2017.

Calli has 8 entire tracks.
Three of which are your generic self-introduction tracks of little to no thematic or narrative substance other than "I rap good, and I want you to know who I am" that seem to be popular in rap, and even one of those is memelord central with a beat constructed entirely of the noises random bullshit from her apartment slapped together.

Another two of them are "featuring" tracks where she had little creative input, and I cheated the "only spotify" rule to include them

After that you're left with Live Again, Cursed Night, and Off With Their Heads. All three of which are fucking amazing.
