Containment What will happen when Barb dies?

Considering there's a place for Barb's ashes next to Bob, isn't there going to be a cremation procedure to pay for?

Perhaps the idea of Barb's body being burnt to ashes later would mean to CWC that no evidence to whatever is done to the corpse would physically remain.

It had been suggested here that CWC would drive her to a hospital or something at the first signs of emergency, but frankly, I still somehow expect at least some dodgy actions done to the body. Of course, chances of anyone documenting that would be next to none, but the fact remains that at least some Laughs Under Lucricities would be expected upon Barb's passing.
Am I being Islamic or are you saying that Chris would fuck his mum's body?

Here's what I think's gonna happen.

When Barb dies, it's gonna be sudden and unexpected. Chris won't let her rot in the house. Once he knows something is wrong, he's gonna call an ambulance, assuming she doesn't die in the hospital.

Final expenses? Bob already took care of that. If he took the time to get the mausoleum plots, he probably also pre-paid for the cremation ahead of time and there's probably already paperwork on file.

When Barb dies, I think there will be a cheap funeral and the only ones I can see attending would be Chris, maybe some of the fellow troon ass-patters he hasn't totally alienated yet, and some weens in driving distance of Charlottesville.

Once Barb's funeral is over and done with, I'm guessing Chris is going to finally leave 14 Branchland Court even before the eviction notices show up. He'll probably take a few days to a couple of weeks to try and pack up what he can take with him and leave the Hoard for good.

Now, what happens next will be dependent on whether or not any weens, ass-patters, or internet white knights like The Captain (if he's still involved with Chris anymore) decide to help Chris out either by foolishly letting him crash at their place or setting him up in some cheapo apartment or trailer in a janky part of town.

If he can get a shitty ghetto apartment or rinky-dink redneck trailer then he's got a fighting chance of barely scraping by and living every month tugboat to tugboat.

If nobody steps in, he's probably just gonna be homeless.

I don't think that Chris would abandon his house like that seeing that he views it as an ancient temple or some shit.

I don't think until he's dragged out in Hedgehog Defensive Posture. Not because he doesn't want to leave on some level but because he is lazy and stupid and will endlessly procrastinate until it's too late.

Pretty sure if Barb passed away, either of these could happen:
  • Chris could wind up homeless unless he manages not to blow the budget that he's supposed to be using for Barb's funeral as well as the estate taxes (and the like) for the home that would be left behind to him.
  • Chris might end up in a state-mandated conservatorship. To be honest, he should have been in conservatorship a long time ago (but I guess his parents would consider that as admitting that they were wrong to think that his autism is nothing to be concerned about).

1. Not could - will end up homeless. Barb is the homeowner, since the house is in her name, and she is in so much debt that the bank will take the house once she dies.
2 Budget: Both Chris and Barb have no savings. Both, (with Chris extra money from weens/enablers) are getting money tugboat to tugboat. It would be interesting to see how Barb's funeral will be. As a matter of fact, as with Bob's funeral, in his obituary written by Chris in Barb, instead of flowers, they'd prefer monetary donations.

Even if he gets those donations, it will be straight to getting toys, shipped to a house that has no occupants.

I forget, but didn't she have Chris cosign a bunch of her loans as well? Despite them not being able to get any money out of Chris, him needing to go to court without mommy to make him act properly will be hilarious in its own right.

I did not know of this. As far as I'm aware, I know barb did take some -if not all- money from Chris' life insurance. I wouldn't be surprised as Chris is the only living person who would be her co-signer on any loans, which is pathetic, and that on that document Chris would fill under "occupation: self-employed/receiving SSI". If it ends up being true, Chris is fucked in terms of credit, and his biggest troll has and always be his mother (and I thought the Idea Guys were the worst in extorting).

He's staying right where he is until the sheriff's deputy zaps him to the extreme with a tazer and drags him out on eviction day. He wants to leave but he wanted a boyfriend-free girl and how'd that work out for him?

After that? If he still has a working vehicle and remembers his half-brother David I think he will show up at Dr. Chandler's practice (90 minutes away IIRC) and make a scene demanding to see family. From there he should get sent to a group home but probably just spend a day or two in lockup before the start of the Homeless Saga.

If Sonchu has begun rusting away as a part of the outdoor horde? Arrested breaking into Sonichu Headquarters and following the same script as above.

This is too depressing. There is no good outcome.

I imagine Rocky will get contacted, when that fails, his troon church people, but I think you're right, he'll drive over in his best clown attire and pound on their door. If all that fails, more tardrage tweets and messages to Cole.

But maybe, just maybe, Chris will load up his van and drive to New York City to try to live with Cole in Carnegie Hall.
