Get your fedoras ready because the "outlived" meme makes my fucking skin crawl. First off, everyone who Phil has "outlasted" is still alive (apart from TB obviously), the reason they no longer have an internet presence is because they decided it was no longer a worthwhile endeavor. Secondly, despite doing this shit for as long as he has, Phil has never had it harder than any of these content creators. You're telling me it's impressive he survived longer than TotalBiscuit when he doesn't have cancer? Retarded.
The reason Phil is still streaming despite all the (self-inflicted) shit he's put up with is because he literally has zero alternative. Someone like Metokur could quit Youtube in pursuit of other endeavors and be fine. The moment Phil's gaming career fails, he has nothing else besides stocking shelves somewhere no one's ever heard of. It is not at all impressive that Phil has gamed/streamed for 12 years, considering it is the easiest, least demanding job in all of America. That's like being proud of holding down the cashier at McDonald's for 12 years. It's fucking depressing. And if anyone Phil has "outlasted" decides to return to Youtube one day, they would immediately be in a better spot than him anyway, see ProJared.
And finally, Phil's career has not survived. He was fired by Machinima. His Youtube channel doesn't pull in even 1% of the views it once did. His Twitch streams are very visibly carried by a small group of people, which proves that people care about funding him for ulterior reasons apart from the gameplay itself, the one thing Phil insists makes his streams superior to others. Phil is still doing what he's doing because he has nowhere further to fall.
No one on the internet wants to interact with him because it'd be the equivalent of slamming a jet plane into a rodent. The day Phil does manage to reclaim some popularity, he'd be immediately stomped back into the ground as evidence by what happens when he pokes his head into Twitter.
DSP is a shambling corpse of what it was, and even during its highlight it smelled like a dead crab. What many detractors fail to understand is that we aren't on some grand crusade to ensure PP Burnell sees retribution, we're observing the downward spiral of someone who squanders every opportunity ever given to him.
Instead of parroting this dumbass fucking meme, turn your attention to long-lived internet personalities that have actually worked hard to keep things going to this day, like Chuggaaconroy.

Chuggaconroy is cool. I agree and i regret my comment now. I shouldn't have been yapping my mouth to be a "memer" in this thread. Phill is not gonna be remembered fondly that much im sure. His 2012 videos were better. The ProJared "redemption" is shortlived, yes. It just suprised me that he is still going (like a zombie) to this day due to the grace of his fans and god.

I just tuned in to the end of his prestream -- it was a little odd, he was delaying. Just sitting in silence waiting for people to ask him questions. He even said: "Does anybody want to ask me any questions? Anything in the news that anybody wants me to talk about?"

Then I noticed that Phil hasn't put himself into a game category yet. He always puts his daily 90-minute talk show prestream in the category of the game he's going to play 90 minutes later, rather than... you know... the Just Chatting category where he fucking should be. Not today, wonder why.

I comented here a week ago and looked at Phill's histoty. Gonna be fair with you its more intresting than CWC or OnionBoi. No joke. CWC is tragic
and its one of the many grim reminders of what happens when the internet gets a hold of you and you let it consume you. And Onion is.....a middleage creep and a complete moron. DSP lore is where its at.

Also another thing i noticed, is that Phill seems to survive a lot of shit and outlive a lot of youtubers. (I think Metokur/Jim called him a pigroach, seems about right.) Im calling it the DeEsPee phenomenon.

He outlived: AngryGrandpa(F), TotalBiscuit(F), Etika(F).....And many more. He survived the Adpocalypse.
He could be canceled at any point in time but he isn't. I recall his old playtrough of Dead Space and his Jew jokes. This is Twitter Cancel Mob material right there,(there are many more) but still he is here. People make videos about him showing how horrible he is at playing games and being an insensitive asshole and liar. He can't even spend his money responsibly.

I found this amusing cause to be honest its kinda what I first thought finding phil in a way. " My god this fucks luck is unbelievable" or something like that and its easy to believe he will be around long term or something given how the odds against him tend to turn in his favor but life is ever changing in a very real way. Nothing will last for ever and that includes Phil. Signs are already in place if you really care to look and I do mean that in a variety of ways, large and small its actually the main thing that gives me comfort in knowing of people like this. It all eventually does end and when it does they are not prepared, it's why I hang around, I think because I like seeing it happen to Phil in real time.

This man has regressed into a permanent childlike state. He had a maid/ live-in mom that takes care of him (badly but still does some stuff for his fat ass) and cooks for him. So he can play children video games in his fucking PJs.

There’s no way any woman who wouldn’t have a sinister ulterior motive to be in a relationship with this... thing that Phil has become, be happy in any capacity. These two do not have a healthy relationship. You can’t be spending 8 hours of your day in a smelly office playing children’s games and expect the other person to be happy with the relationship. Unless that other person doesn’t give a fuck about you and is simply looking to get something out of you.

It's possible that Jenna was telling the truth that Kat is on the spectrum. I know Jenna is a fucking lunatic who makes shit up, but maybe Kat is "special".

I mean she did get a court ordered mental health evaluation. She did have to be reminded to read the tips out loud. She did marry Darksydephil. Somethings not right upstairs.

So I prefer not to think Kat is a cheating gold digger. I like to think Phil is taking advantage of another wheelchair symbol. That's what he's best at.

I like to think Phil lied and made promises to Kat that he had no intention of fulfilling. Kat had no friends or family to, for lack of a better word, protect her from Phil.
