Another EFAP with some Fandom Menace people, I assume considering Nerdrotic is here. I can feel them prostrating to him. As I said before, they seem terrified of him. I will watch it since I have neglected EFAP for a while.
It's a Patrick Willems video. It's been a while. Further dedication to superhero movies, it seems. May be entertaining. I really hope I don't end up defending him.
EDIT: They are being very contrarian, and pausing before Willems makes his point to go on several-minute tangents. I really should be used to this by now, but you'd think they would have learned that they shouldn't pause so readily, name of the podcast or no. It's to their detriment.
EDIT: I'm not surprised that they do not know about the R-rated DC cartoon movies. I doubt they watched the Batman/Justice League cartoons either, judging by the MoS EFAP Movie. Though I am surprised that Nerdrotic and the other two haven't either. Unless they aren't bringing it up to oppose MauLer.
EDIT: MauLer and co. have a rather high regard of 'realism' in films. We've already discussed this, but MauLer really has a specific taste that he thinks should be a standard. He'd probably deny this, but he often does this without thinking.
EDIT: So far I'm agreeing with Willems, but he may say something stupid yet and hasn't come to his point yet.
EDIT: MauLer says he doesn't care about your knowledge of the source material but your argument when Willems tries to justify his argument with his 'nerd cred'. I disagree with this, especially with adaptations, but I'll roll with it. This is interesting because this is something I've always held against MauLer even when I was a fan, if I haven't made that clear from previous posts.
EDIT: MauLer confirms he has not read Watchmen or Dark Knight Returns. He acknowledges they are entry-level as an argument against Willems but doesn't seem to know much past that.
EDIT: The Fandom Menace trio are talking about their knowledge of comic history that I know nothing about while MauLer and Rags are notably silent.
...until MauLer brought them back to basic arguments I've heard before about children's properties enjoyed by adults.
I not sure if I've said this before but MauLer is such a layman he drags down everyone around him to his level, which is why I am uncertain about other EFAP member's knowledge because they roll with his lack of knowledge because they don't what to oppose him.
