Mildly surprised she's streaming primarily in English despite being fluent in Japanese and based in Japan. Was kinda expecting a Pikamee situation. Bit disorganized, but not too bad or kino.

Having trouble placing that accent. Her English accent sounds Filipino. Maybe a half-Jap? Artist-mama is LittleThingsPH (a Filipino artist) and Metro Manila does have a burgeoning underground metal scene so I wouldn't be surprised if she fronted one of the indie bands there (EDIT: she did confirm in the Q&A portion that she used to be in a band with her "yokai" friends).

I could be wrong though.

So she's started singing. First track's a Paramore song. It's okay. She did a screamo take on "I'll Make A Man Out of You" just now. Her mic's peaking. She needs to tinker around with her audio set-up to compensate for that since she'll be doing a lot of screaming into it.

Metal girl is pretty fun, but her growling sounds kinda like someone taking the piss out of metal rather than a sincere effort though. I think that's more to them being meme songs because her BABYMETAL cover is much better.

i'm almost 99% sure she's filipino, the accent immediately jumped out at me other than the fact that her artist is popular here locally. she sounds like someone who grew up speaking english but you really cant shake the accent no matter how americanized you are.

i really love her energy and she seems really talented, definitely different from other filipino vtubers i've seen. if she is filipino.

Nah, tuned in to her debut. She knows her shit though her technique is still unrefined. Definitely made her rounds fronting some small band in the underground metal/hardcore scene in Manila, because I'm almost certain that bitch is definitely Filipino at this point.

I can stomach metal music only when it's not played seriously, so I enjoyed this video a lot. But I also think she will be mixing meme content with less meme-y videos to please more viewers.

As much as I despise the Chinese I do feel bad for the ones who just wanted to watch Vtubers and got it taken away because of the CCP shills who made me hate the Chinese.
