The secret is so well known it took me a few minutes to figure out what was wrong with the tweets. Syd is trying to save her engagement as Garnt can't be aroused by 3D women anymore.
Completely unrelated but people are using Garnt's business email to sign him up for porn (which may get him sacked by Kadokawa) and it's a glorious shitshow. I don't really tune into Hime at all but from what I can tell she really isn't acting any fucking different than her normal self on Sydsnap's channel and this is just an excuse for her to stream...when she probably could have just done so with a facecam anyway.
That actually sounds pretty accurate, how petty.
Watched some of her after Gura and in action she really isn't lolibait. Did she tone it down after her two minute hate? I doubt it, she really doesn't that kind of voice. Speaking of which, she does seem to have a bit of a bilingual accent, either Asian- or Hispanic-American. Maybe some hint of a culture that may not look at her design and think about sex with children like white folk on twitter. She does seem pretty low-energy which can either be chillax or fucking Artemis as she goes forward, but like Bao, the fact that she put effort into a slideshow is way more promising than Arty.
She didn't even reveal her voice before people decided that they hated her, forgot about her, then hated her again. A rough timeline of events leading up to today for Kyuotto from what I can tell: She was originally an independent artist who made pins for sale on Etsy. I can't get an exact date on when her Etsy account went up but judging by reviews of her pins, she's been doing it since at least summer of last year, a bit before holoEN debuted. Sometime after the debut of holoEN, in...fall, I think? She unveiled her model (and bear in mind she already had a following from her Etsy store and probably independent artwork) and people immediately got on the hate train about her promoting pedophilia, and that's actually when I started following her because I was getting sick of the ENVyTubers shitting on someone they knew nothing about and she just seemed like a nice person. She basically ignored all of that shit and went about her predebut activities (promoting herself, her artwork/assets, giving updates on her models, daily "how are you, gachikoi?" posts) and was basically just another TBA, but with good reason since she was actually waiting for her assets to be done.
After she announced her debut date Hate Wave 2: Electric Boogaloo happened. This was also around the time I got more involved with the indie scene as I had started streaming in earnest, and had a few brief interactions with her of just random commenting; it's surprising how much she interacts with her community since she's basically responded to me and everyone else that has a kind word for her. Most I did was give her singing tips based on what I know about operatic performance. Again, she just seemed like a low energy relaxed girl trying to make her way in this industry. She later revealed her voice in some short Twitter videos (that also showed off her model moving around) but by then the hate had died down. I have a feeling the ENVyTubers gave up on her the second Little Miss Death dropped "Off With Their Heads" and gave them something new to hate on as Kyuotto, once again, just kept on with her regular activities leading up to her debut. Gotta admire her tenacity, she's definitely made of sterner stuff.
One note about her model is that it low-key looks a bit like Ironmouse's second model. I tuned out of the debut when the Q and A started but I wouldn't doubt if she had listed our favorite bedridden chuuba as an inspiration for her own work.
