Anyone else think the usual modern retail stores and cubicle spaces always look so ugly and depressing? The omnipresent fluorescent lighting and paneled ceilings (for ease of maintenance) doesn't help.

Can you find anything which doesn't look depressing? Everything is dirty and unloved. No one wants to be responsible for any thing so it's all just run down dirty commercialism.

Isn't modern design making everything possible glass? Saves on lighting bills, makes people feel less trapped and reduces suicides from lack of sun during the winter. At least office wise. You're right on shops. It's got worse as they got bigger as well, a soulless small shop is one thing but I've seen super markets half a mile long and it's like a horror movie watching it stretch on eternally.

The Lion king is the only good "Disney classic". It's the only movie that teaches you to be responsible and not slack off. Every other movie is feminist bullshit with a bad moral frame work. Watching those films back you loved as a kid makes you see how utterly fucked they are.
