It would still run into the problem that big construction projects wouldn't destroy the economy of the third reich. So, no gibraltar in TNO Redux? I still think a big ass bridge with tidal generators under it could be done, haphazardly of course, and while not affecting geography, can destroy the German economy..
Could you elaborate why the Nazis would use the same economic system as the Soviets if they won the war?It would still run into the problem that big construction projects wouldn't destroy the economy of the third reich.
There could be a shortage in steel, other projects might be delayed or cancelled. But you wouldn't have a market crash. Black monday only works in Kaiserreich because the banks are private and the German economy is tied to the western economy. The german faction in a post WW2 axis victory scenario would be a centrally planned autarky like the Warsaw Pact.
Another is on its way remaking Russia, of course paid.Shit like this makes me wonder how long before Paradox destroys EU4 with woke revisionism.
Just kidding, they've already destroyed it with over priced, unbalanced DLCs and broken AI.
I don't get it. Kiwi is obviously a tick-like, never stopping entity resembling /b/ back in 2006-2007 where they literally made a kid kill himself. Does he really think they'd do it?"oho

Cause that's what their stated goals were. Among the primary reasons for expansion of German control was achieving autarky.Could you elaborate why the Nazis would use the same economic system as the Soviets if they won the war?
Every time i literally give examples like these id get shouted down in facebook. Nazi economy = ussr economyCause that's what their stated goals were. Among the primary reasons for expansion of German control was achieving autarky.
There are of course distinctions, the junkers wouldn't all be executed like they would have been in the USSR, but by 1939 they were all subservient to the state. Party membership was mandatory, and any dissenters would be put in concentration camps like Fritz Thyssen.
The banks were nationalized, the industry concerns were all put under state supervision.
In truth the soviet economic system is based on the war socialism of Imperial Germany, a system the nazis would return to as the nazi party solidified their power.

the entire games point is to be unrealistic. HOI4 is a WW2 sandbox game focusing on creating alt history paths for countries. Bulgaria retaking the entire balkans isnt something put in there because it wouldve been possible but because it would be a fun scenario for a map painting game. just like the return of the Kaiser or reforming the Austro-Hungarian Empire or France not immediately eating shit in 1940.A problem with HOI4 in general is that a lot of focus trees seem to be written by unrealistic irredentists. Bulgaria taking over the entire Balkans in the base game is a major example. The power of minor countries like Bulgaria should be very limited. Historically Bulgaria surrendered as soon as the Soviets arrived on the border!
To be honest, helicopters in game are broken, you can even defeat Burgundy with france by using helicoptersHelicopters are just an alternative to CAS or another special support company to add to your division to make the numbers go higher.
I
Obviously you would have to balance it out by making helicopters near useless if the enemy has air superiority or if they have enough mobile AA in their divisionTo be honest, helicopters in game are broken, you can even defeat Burgundy with france by using helicopters
Flying helicopters over the front lines of a peer conventional opponent is utterly suicidal and you'll just get massacred by MANPADS and SAMs. Paratroopers haven't been dropped into "hot" conventional battlefields since WW2, which ended very badly at Arnhem. In counter-insurgency warfare like Vietnam or Rhodesia though it is an option and could be modelled as aerial envelopment.Still disappointed that none of the post cold war mods have managed to do anything special with the tech you would have available after the war. Helicopters are just an alternative to CAS or another special support company to add to your division to make the numbers go higher.
I had the idea that you could try to turn units with helicopter battalions added to it into basically the knights on the chessboard. If you attack a frontline with a division that has a helicopter equipped battalion or support company the enemy division will receive the encircled penalty as theoretically you would be able to transport troops for air assaults behind enemy fortifications. It would also then be a serious debuff to enemy fortifications. It would also make your division faster at redeploying within territory you hold, and possibly use it to occupy territory behind enemy lines just like you can with paratroopers in the base game.
Another idea is to implement special forces sea landings using submarines. The idea being that with a special forces division you could use submarines to land troops and equipment into enemy territory without controlling the ocean. The risk of course being the division is smaller and not as well equipped as a regular division, but could be devastating towards a foe that thinks that parking his entire navy on the coast somehow means there's no need to keep troops at home to defend the coastline.
You could even have a special event where Japan or Germany could use political power and equipment to launch a sea invasion of the US using container ships loaded with troops and equipment just like the game World in Conflict.
France holding off the Germans is completely realistic, though, if they had a flexible defence strategy that covered the gap in the Ardennes. Bulgaria taking over the whole Balkans with little resistance is just ultranationalist fantasy. If you want to change the course of history then don't play Bulgaria.the entire games point is to be unrealistic. HOI4 is a WW2 sandbox game focusing on creating alt history paths for countries. people jerk off the Darkest Hour game even though its such a railroady experience. the player has such little freedom of action because the game wants to be historically accurate.
imagine playing a game as bulgaria and then in the 1940s the soviets put a couple of divisons on your border and youre scripted to capitulate. why are you even playing a game at that point? youd have a better experience just opening up a history book. also why would the developer ever spend time on minor nations such as bulgaria when noone plays them because theyre realistically weak and get rolled over as soon as a major power gets them in their sights?
Try Mulitplayer.God, I wish that Victoria 2 has autism fits like this. Hearts of Iron 4 is just a boring game that the computer manages
