This has got to be the most backwards PSA I have seen in my life. All my life, I was taught to not see people for their race and to treat non-white people as how I want to be treated. The last time I saw someone for their colour when I was a dumb teen, my teacher scolded me and I've corrected my behaviour since.

Now they're undoing centuries worth of activism, progress and race relations to have some fat, purple blob tell kids to judge each other! And I checked YT, there are way more likes than dislikes so people are eating this up!

What's the next PSA? It's OK to be racist to white people to fully swap history's ugly side? I wouldn't put it beneath them tbh.

Hopefully, kids would be too dumb to absorb the message but we all know that adults are the actual audience of Steven's Universe.

Its the same old motte and bailey tactic. They are looking at the concept of colorblindness (treating everybody the same, regardless of color), conflating it with a harder to defend idea (treating people like no one can experience racism because you literally dont see differences between races), and using that to make the whole "colorblind" idea seem unreasonable. They've been doing it for years for every topic and its going to keep happening.

And people wonder why liberals lower their vocabulary when talking to black people.

Also, stop saying that all humans are genetically the same. Not a race realist, but there is a clear biological component to races, how else would they explain how we look different, are affected by diseases differently, etc. That's also genes. Even if we were different races, that wouldn't change the fact that we should treat each other with respect and dignity. We could have biological races and still uphold true anti-racists believes, such as, don't be a jerk to people of other races and don't think that one race is superior to another.
