General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

She's an Austrian German-English-Japanese trilingual in Japan, which narrows it down to only a handful of possible people. The voice profiles are reasonably similar. Cover doesn't really care about hiring a model or cosplayer as a talent, as long as they can do the job which she seemingly can. As to why she would join, remember she's not getting any younger and she's making good money now.'

That really doesn't. German is incredibly popular in Japanese nerd culture.
>The voice profiles are reasonably similar.
They really only are if you listen to them with the preconceived notion that they are.
>Cover doesn't really care about hiring a model or cosplayer as a talent, as long as they can do the job which she seemingly can.
Okay, then why hire someone with baggage at all? A reasonably personable chick with a pleasant voice would do just fine.
>As to why she would join, remember she's not getting any younger and she's making good money now.'
That's good enough motive for the thot, but not really motive for the multimillion-dollar company.

I'm not saying it couldn't be her, I'm just saying that the dox seems kind of sus.

vtubers are human too, they also have feelings, they do stupid shit just like normal people, kiara is young, she is bound to make mistakes here and there, I don't really care about kiara cause I'm not interested in her, but man, no one cares about her political view, she can masturbate to Hitler's moustache and i wouldn't bat an eye, yuo hate her, that's fine, no one care, get over it

Those were high school days and high school kids are known to create clique and bullying etc. plus her hate for Australia due to the host family.

Culture wise my 2 cents is that multiculturalism will never work anywhere outside of US. Australia is a bad copy paste with how retard the government antics lately.
The US is a multiethnic, not a multicultural society. It has a single monolithic, universalist culture that everyone partakes in, but that culture leaves enough room for fairly robust subcultures and group identities. It's a pretty tolerant system but don't mistake it for being especially benevolent - it exists to ensure efficient assimilation of immigrants (which is a good thing).

I think the major problem with Australia is just their overall social candor. Australians have a reputation for being particularly abrasive among the anglosphere peoples and I imagine a lot of Japanese people simply aren't ready for such sharp social interactions. This is less of a problem in the US and UK where a degree of cordiality is the norm in casual social situations (and of course, Haachama being a small Japanese girl means that the rules of gallantry apply to her throughout large swathes of the US).

Are you 8 years old, genuine question

lol alright, I see Pekora talking back and forth with Keekihime about other Vtubers in moonrunes on twatter (all unarchived btw, which is something I'm doing for you in case you're right). So where are the Kiara=Keekihime proofs?
To be honest I dont get the insistence, the multiple correlations and coincidences in my opinion add up more than most heavily accepted and eventually straight up confirmed identities, I mean people were convinced Gura was Senzawa with even less shit than that
Do you hate Keekihime so much that you don't want to even consider she's Kiara or viceversa? I mean saying shit like "No her being an austrian german trilingual chick doesnt matter because german is popular there" like it makes sense is a severe step

Why does everyone seem to dislike Kiara? I haven't had time to watch her streams.
I'm a fan of Kiara because of the reasons other posters find her a bit irritating and it's all good. Diff strokes for diff folks and all that.

I like people who are outgoing and give zero fucks despite having their own speaking issues, the uwu shy seiso girl schtick gets really annoying after a while. It's the same reason why I'm also huge fans of Subaru, Coco, Towa and Miko. English isn't Kiara's first language, Subaru has that throat problem that makes her voice coarse, Towa has that deep voice, Coco has the Mickey Mouse voice and Miko.. never mind English her Japanese is barely understandable. But they all go for it anyways and I respect that. I do wish Kiara would take off her limiters tho, she is a much better singer than what she let's on. The KFC thing is going to limit her and I'm not surprised at all she is one of the lower EN girls in popularity. Same with the horniness and extreme thirst, it's gonna prevent her mainstream-ness but again I think it's hilarious.

You're operating under the assumption that Cover has ever cared about their talents' past, which is provably not true. In fact, it's outright stated in the EN Gen 2 auditions signup that they want past content creation experience. Baggage is only baggage if it actually causes them to not do their job properly, which as far as we know it hasn't.

As for the language thing, it's probable that there's a decent number of Austrians in Japan, but the number who were brought over for entertainment as opposed to business is far lower. Of those we're looking at someone who's highly fluent in English despite coming from Austria (or a German-speaking country) and working in Japan. Again, I'm sure there's some of those but then you have to consider the age profile, gender, and the voice as mentioned earlier. The voice is certainly not the strongest match like Gura-Senzawa but when you consider all the other factors involved, it's certainly highly likely.

It's definitely not 100% and you are right to consider the possibility that it might not be her. But we won't really have a final confirmation unless someone slips up with a webcam or a reflection, which is not something their management will allow. Most interesting is that Keekihime feels the need to silence mentions of it, rather than just saying "it's not me" and moving on. So unless there's a big new piece of evidence we assume that it's her.
