General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

A bit late but when Calli specifically mentioned that she played Johnny and Bedman in GG XRD, I did not expect her to have to learn how to do a quarter circle in real time.
Playing also includes furious button mashing and fireball spamming.

A bit surprised I haven't seen any V-tubers playing Kenshi. It would be pretty easy to mod in their AVs, and there's enough crazy shit that happens in the game to keep things interesting.
Probably because the game is quite niche, and you can argue its not that good to stream, kind of

Uto meta-tagged her way up to 359k then officially blamed somebody else after she caught flak for it. I’m honestly impressed, in a way. Heck, I’m still subbed, so I guess that’s that. *POP POP POP*
Kind of remember Towa thing, tbh.

I mean, I could see them making some pretty good commentary on their characters getting their legs eaten off by naked bug men.

Meta tag is not something generic viewers look at anyway. It reserved for super nerdy dirt hunters for drama ironically. 9/10 when talk about meta tag generic YouTube viewers would be like “wut?” Only the few nerdy know how that works and affects YouTube’s algorithm. Considered how some Japanese are still tech illiterate like how Kanata still fall for the alt+F4 trick I doubt Uto is that deep into computer to know how the system work.

And half the time I see it, people keep saying meta-tagging is useless unless you're already, say, Dream-sized.

Don't care for the movement, but this subject has already been approached earlier in the thread. Chances of personal politics of Vtubers ever following along the lines of being "based and redpilled", especially concerning the EN side of things, more than likely approaches zero. As long as it doesn't carry over into their persona or interactions with their fans, then it shouldn't be a problem since that's why people flock to this medium in the first place; to get away from it all.

Tbh though I'm not really convinced by most of the who is who stuff surrounding V-tubers anyway. About 90% of it is voice comparison shit from Reddit, and the Boston bomber incident kinda proved that Reddit can't dox.

Pretty much this. On a personal level, I just chalk up all of Keeki's opinions on American politics, as a foreigner with almost no real understanding of America's issues, as uninformed and I do not take her seriously whatsoever and just ignore it.
