Didn't he claim to have shipped them like three different times in the past 6 months? I'm sure a bunch shipped via media mail were rejected by the USPS and returned but wouldn't a significant number have gone through without being caught? Why is he having to re-ship them all again?

His update says he's now having to pay $5.50 - $11.80 to ship. How much did the campaign charge for shipping, the usual CG $10?

It was $25 for the book and free shipping for the US. That's more than enough to print it and ship it, and allocate money to our expenses, while still being VERY profitable.

The campaign says there were 1,293 total backers with 195 digital so I'll assume 1,098 total packages. If every single one had to be shipped at his stated First Class prices then that's an additional unbudgeted $2,931.66 to $9,849.06. A big spread.

I'm so confused by this.. This is what I, probably incorrectly, understand the state of play to be at the moment:

Donal is out of favour with Frog now, and widely recognised as a flake by CG, but is still working with Cecil and is still in his good books. Everyone has got bored with That Star Wars girl after she brought enough attention to tank CG's relationship with Dynamite. WC is out, but it isn't because lots of CGers seem to keep friendly relations on the downlow. You and Jon are back Frog's good books, and Lady A is out, now, even though last week she was the bestest. WC are low-key simping for her now. Fuck knows what Liam is doing, he's now buddies with Preston and WC. Frog is now turning CG into a retirement home for Marvel & DC rejects. Dark Grift is neutral, meaning he pals with WC and CG, and is doing a comic with Preston's ex-wife because he's after jacking-up his profile and jacking off Leroy. Oh and Mandy and Piper hate each other, only they don't because they've agreed to some unconvincing story about some inscrutable oriental sicking them at each other...even though they hate each other.

I was unaware of your true crime videos until this post. I finished watching the two, and the subject does seem more of interest to you. Reading the posts of Redditors seems a bit of a hit or miss tactic for making video content. It may be that I'm more used to people who have scripted their videos beforehand and use Reddit (and other websites) as research for their thesis, but I didn't find just reading and commenting to be as compelling as other channels. On the other hand, you were doing pretty much the exact same thing that Tim Pool does, so maybe it could work. It's a good thematic fit for you.

You might want to check out some other channels to see if you like their styles enough to incorporate aspects into your videos:

Write ups are important. I tried to write one for Liam. I've never had trouble following, summarizing, and making a stream fun or making fun of a stream. But I threw my hands up. Liam has a unique mix of autistic ADHD combined with a brazen lack of scruples that when combined with a surprisingly borderline functioning IQ...

He was going out there and just grabbing other peoples narratives. But smart, scrupulous people throw them out slowly, looking to test reactions. He just throws all, at times contradictory statements out there and rambles. It was too much and I suffered an autism overload. Since then, I've sworn that orange shit off. Only in small doses and never with the intent of looking for deeper meaning.

Liam feels like a herd of different cows and each of his inner cows knows and disaproves and badmouths the others.
Or he is drinking so hard on the koolaid that he has transformed into supersperg.

If I were you, I would script and spend some time editing these videos at a higher production level (stock videos and photos related to the case) aiming for a video a week. Most people are not YBZ that can do 3 videos a day, instead go on the JSG trail - script, well edited video, the best video you can do a week.
Growth will be slower, but at this point JSG has more subs than YBZ.

If I were you, I would script and spend some time editing these videos at a higher production level (stock videos and photos related to the case) aiming for a video a week.

Why would anyone think Nasser, with his hatred of making YouTube content, would invest more time in the production of that content?

Nasser doesn't put that level of effort into his writing, and he likes writing.

It's far easier for Nasser to make the low effort shit video content he does and then come here to complain that it isn't magically growing his channel and selling his books.

I am very happy and optimistic for CG's future, gents. Everything is really looking up and people need real escapist entertainment away from the corporate crap now more than ever. I know we're supposed to just complain about other people on here but big stuff is in the works on not just my front, but on a lot of others I'm hearing about as well.
