Obsessing about metrics like subscribers, follow count on Twitter, view counts on videos, etc.

For holo most of the time it's someone else doing it on their behalf. Like arguing about growth rate of gura back when the race to the first million was heating up between her catfox and dog.

Kiara was numberfagging herself hard early on, something at least I personally had only seen twice since I got into Holo live, with the Akirose breakdown that went viral on reddit and led to her breakout and the time Coco told... Someone, holy fuck we were even talking about it a few days ago and I for get who it was, maybe Kanata?... To stop stressing about it because she's still seeing growth regardless. It also didn't make sense to a lot of us because if you looked at raw sub numbers she had already skyrocketed past most of the company, and her time as kiara could be measured in weeks. Imagine stressing out about your metrics when there's several people in the company that have less subscribers than the CEO.

She is actually 25 or 26. The article where she talked about her experience in the idol industry came out six years ago when she was 19. Not a major difference, but as the number differences becomes more important as they fall.

it also bears consideration that more often than not it's just dumb repetition people pick up from their environment, not necessarily a deep conviction they hold personally. any change of scenery will a) show them it's only a small echochamber regurgitating retarded identity politics and b) affect them one way or another over time, biggest of all being told to STFU about it and them figuring out it's pretty much irrelevant, and since most are never really "into it" they drop it at some point while assimilating.

Indeed, but looking bad Kiara was performing really bad at the start. She ain't pro streamers like Gura or Ame, or have any particularly selling talent like Ina's drawing or Calli's rapping. The only thing she got going on is that she can speak Japanese better than everyone in the group (which useless with one month ban) and Calli yuri bait, which she relies really badly at the start. There's also already a rrat that she was supposed to be HoloJP 5th gen and yadda yadda, so who knows what happen behind the curtain then.

That said, I did read those posts and Kiara was definitely broken as a teenager into thinking what the idol life was about. The numberfagging is understandable because she WAS an idol; she was a member of Tone-Jewel. I think the hololive experience is more or less active therapy for her since she now has real friends.

1. That stereotype is outdated and is just a thing in media. Women get married later in Japan now just due to the workaholic lifestyle making it hard to find time to date.

2. Most of the hololive girls are at or around that age. Doesn't matter. Pretty sure most people find them charismatic enough to fuck.

Kiara claims she never applied to gen5 and only discovered hololive after they had closed up auditions, but applied for EN in desperation. She also shut down the rrat that she sent Pekora that marshmallow about wanting to join.

probably your average mobile gatcha with other media tie-ins, it's easy enough to do, not that high (and risky) investment and people will still pay through the nose for it. GI for now is more of an exception in that regard (although given the amount of money and word of mouth it generates will make other companies try to copy it eventually). also doubt they timetable fits, for a game of that size they would need to be already in production to release anytime soon. or they already do, who knows.

although it's another reason where the chinks fucked up, their spergout (and hololive doing their own thing) probably means no collab ever.

So here's what I get from the alt thing. Basically cover looked at all the fancomics/fanfiction based on the lore of the girls ( Shinigami, Oni, Pirate, Angel etc.) and decided to make it into an official thing with better production quality and more organization.
However, members with deeper lore and themes like HoloEN, third gen, Ayame, Aki, Shion etc will be fun to make content with but I don't see much coming out using Matsuri or Haato for instance.

EDIT: This whole project started as an April Fools tweet that Yagoo noticed...
