Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh dies at 70

Conservative talk show radio host and Republican party icon Rush Limbaugh has died. He was 70 years old.

His wife Kathryn announced his passing on his radio show Wednesday, saying Limbaugh died earlier this morning.

“Rush will forever be the greatest of all time,” she said.

Limbaugh had been battling advanced lung cancer since February.

Back in October, Limbaugh provided this somber update on his show: “You know, I wake up every day and thank God that I did. I go to bed every night praying I’m gonna wake up. I don’t know how many of you do that, those of you who are not sick, those of you who are not facing something like I and countless other millions are.”

Former President Donald Trump awarded Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom during his most recent State of the Union address

This appearance only a few days after his he revealed his diagnosis on his show.

“I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down with this, but the upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer,” Limbaugh said in February.

“The Rush Limbaugh Show” first aired in 1988.

Never was a fan of Rush, but the fact that some people celebrate this is absolutely disgusting, and really shows what kind of people they are.

p.s same with the people celebrating that he had cancer and wished that he'd die ASAP around Jan 2020, literally deranged lol

That's how these people typically are. Keep in mind he's talking about Christopher Hitchens in the latter tweet.

Trump talking about Rush, says he spoke to him 3 or 4 days ago, win 47 for the Rushbo:

edit: I noticed the "Rest In Piss" was removed from Twitter trending and is now trying to bring up things Rush said about Michael J. Fox when he was using Parkinsons for a political ad for stem cell legislation, or how he called Chelsea Clinton ugly when she was a kid. Which every comedian did back then.

I didn't always agree with him, sometimes vehemently so, but I admired him sticking to his guns and sheer analytical debate style.

The man had a gift for seeing the heart of the matter and calling out needless emotional bullshit. He wasn't always right, but God damn he could stand up to obvious bullshit when needed. I legit remember studying his debate/rhetoric style over a decade ago in college when I needed to hold my ground against obvious academia bullshit.

He set the tone for 3 decades and is the reason talk radio didn't die a horrible quick death in the 80's.

Have you seen the McCain and RBG threads?
McCain was a sellout and a neocon who cared more about his wallet and the establishment than his constituents. He held onto office until he died instead of doing the proper thing and retiring.

RBG could've retired a decade before her death, instead she decided to virtue signal and go for stupid "I want to be replaced by the first woman president" with a massive fucking ego. Literally close to death and she holds on instead of retiring quietly and alive to enjoy her last few years.

Rush was a radio host that said things Democrats didn't like, and they spent more time attacking him and strawman of him than any of the things he actually said.

Also fuck Rio Linda.

Edit: not to mention McCain was a warmonger who never saw a conflict he didn't like, leading to people actually dying for the military-industrial complex.
