SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

PixelatedHarmony (Roget) is leaving once again. This is the post she left.

Now, I'm just wondering how long until she comes back crying.
Where did you find this? I went through a few pages of the account's post history, but I can't find it. Based on the date when the post was originally made, it looks like she came back after this and posted a bunch, before having her membership revoked for being a dick. This is not the behavior of a mentally stable individual.

Guess I’ll say a few words. *Ahem*

Roget “Admin Fiat”, aka Rogret, aka Weasel Boi, aka Rogrette, aka Weasel Waymhn

Resident historian, prolific article writer, and real-life David Rosen.
In a nest of larva, Rogret was the skeeviest, plumpest grub. Unlike others who we rip on here, he had little to no redeeming qualities. His claim to fame was that he put out the highest number of articles. This is like celebrating someone for farting the most often. The only thing he wrote that was of worth was the History of the Universe. The rest of his articles were mediocre and his brand recognition hoisted them more than anything else, the more talented authors essentially tolerating them out of respect for him being there when some shit went down. The most common reaction to a Roget article was toe-curling pity, the sort you say “cool” to so that you don’t offend someone who is very sensitive.

In a professional capacity, he was known for bringing up suggestions on O5 without going through the proper channels or ignoring the chain of command, or flat out enacting them with no real approval and pissing everyone off who had to clean the mess up. He always had a bit of a troublesome reputation with fellow staff, who grew wary of his shenanigans on more than one occasion. Examples include his proposal for how groups of interest should function, and the incessant push for an official Discord, and the unauthorized creation of an “official” Discord server for The Wanderer’s Library. He was like the Jar Jar of the staff.

He once tried to chastise the site by (correctly) pointing out that it had turned into a circle jerk of flattery and lost its ability to perform meaningful surgery on writing by way of flabby critique. No one took him seriously, as it was too little, too late.

He was censured for abusing his power; he ran to mommy when daddy told him he couldn’t create two sock puppet accounts to cold post two articles; he defended this by saying he didn’t realize his superior told him “no”, and tried to pass it off as a bold and brave experiment in the name of site science (upvotes). Despite the impulsiveness and clear lack of forethought, he somehow became and remained an administrator for some time.

With his authority and stature, the self-proclaimed “Administrator Extraordinaire” openly advocated that opinions contrary to the staff’s self-delivered public image should be censored. He considered vocalizing free thoughts a privilege granted by the rulers of the site, not a guaranteed or inalienable right. He did not see how free speech is a prerequisite to the vibrancy and health of a creative writing site, and so was not an advocate of human rights in this regard. He prioritized the site’s popularity and reputation over the means by which the site achieved both.

He was much worse to his enemies. He contributed to the resignation of the first RPC admin by toying with him out of spite and insecurity, attempting to ruin his psychology by emotional manipulation. Publicly, he routinely vocalized RPC as morally lesser than SCP for the fact of breaking their monopoly on the writing format, but adopted a “live and let live” mentality. Privately however, he colluded, then absconded with the interim admin of that rival site in an attempt to sink it; the actions contradicting his public words.

This little shit created the Internet Outreach team, which is literally the infiltrative arm of control for the site’s reputation. Very fitting for a product of his creation, IO involves itself in snooping, ratting (or weaseling, if you prefer), tattling, and censoring site users, and in general covert harassment and similar ops. He is responsible for the lolFoundation. It’s because of his lionizing the style that we have shit entries all the way up to Kaktus’s 5k article.

He is the latest to demonstrate just how mentally corrosive the community is, and how its cult of quantity has hopelessly eclipsed writing for the sake of itself. He came out undoing all he ever was noted for, burning it with a self-righteous melodrama fitting of a 10 year old who has just watched Twilight. He has finally popped and all the pus is leaking out, pus we have been calling out for years.

Just look at the sheer measure of confusion here. These are all the revisions on the comment his disciplinary thread references:
4660B79F-DA2A-4FA7-A8D0-54EAAE2C4CB5.jpeg
I’ll end with a great quote from him, really has the wisdom of a decade at SCP packed into it:
”When I first started writing [for the SCP, around age 15], my parents were concerned because they didn’t really understand it and they were unsure about my talking to what they perceived as strangers online.”

Thanks for the laughs Rogrette. Don’t become a professional journalist.

Edit: The cringe-fest post has been deleted, here’s an archived version:

It's in the comment section of Rogarmony's user page. Live and Archive.

Erasmus, I don't know if you read this thread as obsessively as all the other staff and rockstar writers, but I'm gonna let you in on a little secret.

That's the point. Roget is enacting Fishmonger 2.0, taking her toys and leaving with them.

Part of me wants to be smug about this, but honestly I feel bad for the people who really liked Roget's work, and I especially feel bad for the people who wrote things based on that work. For a person who claims to still love the wiki, this is a pretty big slap in the face. Apparently she wants her body of work to still be available through a neutral space not controlled by anyone from the wiki, but that really isn't the same.
How many articles is this little tantrum gonna erase from the site?
Around 200. Roget was extremely prolific. To put that number in perspective, I think Fishmonger had something like 30 pages deleted when he left.

Cross-thread quote but:
Thanks for becoming the next Fishmonger, Rogrette. Your little outbursts were pretty funny and I can't wait for SCP Pedostaff to have another collective freakout. Btw about pedostaff, what motivated you to be complicit? Peer pressure, upvotes, or something more?

My best guess is Rogrette made a KF account after leaving SCP for good. She saw us railing on her in the main thread and thought she would own le 4chan bros by making an account and posting semi-sarcastic Twitter quips like the ones you see above. Either she'll get frustrated and leave in a week or she'll fall down a similar route to Cyantreuse and become a full-time KF user with a morally reprehensible past she tries so desperately to sweep under the rug.

The staff is already trying to control the damage. In the comments, Dexanote has effectively denied the request to delete the articles (“I’m putting my foot down on that.”), citing an “earlier PM” between the two. They are kicking it down the road until March at the earliest. I expect a perpetual game of kick-the-can here, as a now more law-savvy staff know that Rogrette has no legal recourse; his stuff is 100% not his and they may not be willing to repeat a Fishmonger Event now.

Also, doing his best Jack Dorsey impression, Uncle Nicolini locked the comments to “help prevent further misunderstanding and fragmentary discussion”. They are taking the discussions to their private channels. That’s a hell of a loose end in need of tying to them.

Also interesting to note that Rogrette became involved in the SCP Commune, a CommunismWillWin spin-off, before this absolute mental breakdown. The irony in that he tried his hardest to destroy other spin-offs is thick here. Cults don’t mix, kids.

They're probably going to put it off until Roget is done having a breakdown or whatever this is, then plead with her to reconsider. They really don't want those articles gone. If Roget doesn't back down, they'll probably end up going through with it, because the community would split over the issue if they refused.
I have yet to ascertain whether he has cut off his penis or not. Instead, he just keeps showing us his feet.
It'll probably happen at some point.

So articles & testicles, both are in for a nasty split.

I want to move on to non-roget discussion since she has her own thread now but really it's the only thing going on atm SCP-wise. Any other news drop down the shitter?
O5 Command is more of the same, and it looks like most staff are focused on the Roget/Harmony thing right now. I'm not in any SCP-related chats or Discord servers, but I imagine the staff ones are full of arguing about what to do about the 200 pages Roget/Harmony wants deleted and the non-staff chats like SCPD are in a similar state.

They probably know she's also on here making a complete and total ass of herself.
