Shit You Think is Spooky/Disturbing - Beware! You're in for a scare...

Something about a person's body being reduced to ashes and bone pieces. Even if you believe the body is just an earthly vessel and their soul is in the afterlife (which I do), it's still creepy and weird to think that the body, which is what you knew and had on earth, is now in a tiny box or vase.
I think it's a lot less creepy than some moldering replica of you slowly turning into a disgusting skeleton covered in foul smelling rotting tissue. Do you really want to turn into this?

Also imagine pressing the incinerate button. I re-read the Peter Lorre biography recently and he was cremated. Imagine going to work at a funeral home and you clock in and "OK today you have to incinerate Peter Lorre's body."
ngl that sounds pretty epic.

The knowledge that no matter how good of a driver I am, I can still be killed or seriously injured because of idiots on the road.

Today I was driving home and went to change lanes. I put my blinker on for about 6 seconds (to give warning) while I looked in my mirrors and windows, and nothing was behind me at all. I go to change lanes and suddenly a solid black Kia-looking rectangle car appeared in the lane and I almost sideswiped them. I swerved back to avoid them but they never missed a beat. I am actually still nervous because I have no idea where it could've come from. For it to have suddenly appeared it had to have been going at least 80 MPH. FWIW the speed limit in this area was like 60.

When my dad was a teenager he was in a really bad car accident. He was in the passenger's seat and the driver was drunk. They went off the road, hit a tree and my dad went through the windshield. He was in and out of consciousness but couldn't really move or talk. He said a cop showed up, walked over to him, tugged on his hair to lift his head, looked at him and said, "This one's dead" and that spooks me every time I think about it

For some reason, this doesn't apply to real life because I love swimming, regardless if the water is dark/black:

when I'm playaing video games specifically, open dark water freaks me out. When I play SoT, I usually make my girlfriend or my other crew members go into the water instead of me lol HOWEVER, if we're fighting a kraken, I'm too busy to care about water.

but the water stuff doesn't stop there: during the water parts in Amnesia, that shit scared the fuck out of me. I can't play Subnautica even though I try so hard every time.

Thermometer guns are sort of unsettling

(The creepy black mask doesn't help either)

I saw a video recently where a man in a developing country somewhere reacted in absolute fucking terror to having one aimed at him because he thought it was a real gun. He instantly sank down to the floor, eyes wide, hands up and shaking, pleading for his life. The person who uploaded the video thought it was hilarious but it was just disturbing and sad.
Anyone who chooses the pistol shaped versions over more innocuous looking ones is an asshole IMO

That's probably because he lived in the kind of country where you literally could just be shot out of nowhere for no reason by some random government functionary. He probably even personally knew someone who ended their life that way.

Last night my sleep paralysis demon looked like some toad goblin sitting in my bedroom door. It had my mom's voice and asked me if I was all packed because it was time to go.

Edit: I don't live with my mom.
I used to get sleep paralysis regularly, it never manifested as a specific thing, just a generalised feeling that someone or something was in the room, and usually a feeling like I was being dragged slowly out of the bed, or I'd be trying to move and almost feel like I could, but not actually moving.

Yours somehow sounds worse.

I can usually reconcile the visual hallucinations, it's the auditory ones I can't deal with because they sound real. I once heard someone breaking a bunch of dishes and throwing shit around my kitchen and yelling at me to "Come out here or I'll fucking kill you."

Dreams: Intense and wacky. Sometimes sane.
Auditory paralysis: Gunshots. So loud it hurts.
Never figured that out.

Numbers stations are pretty spooky.

"A numbers station is a shortwave radio station characterized by broadcasts of formatted numbers, which are believed to be addressed to intelligence officers operating in foreign countries.[1] Most identified stations use speech synthesis to vocalize numbers, although digital modes such as phase-shift keying and frequency-shift keying, as well as Morse code transmissions, are not uncommon. Most stations have set time schedules, or schedule patterns; however, other stations appear to have no discernable pattern and broadcast at random times." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_station

There’s a channel I like to watch that is pretty spooky and it kinda changed my perspective on what happens to us while we die. I don’t know if what he is being told is a 100% honest but some of the stuff he picks up on camera is kinda spooky. Here is a his video of him at Bangor cemetery:

I actually have the physical 2 disc set from about 10 years ago, they apparently added a Limited run 4 disc set which is what this is.

I've personally thought that the person you think is the room with you is well, you, but it seems wrong because you're locked in your subconscious somewhat. I think the brain is nowhere near as comfortable with itself as it tries to pretend.

One thing I hate about these 'investigations' is the FORCED interpretation of 'messages' from beyond.
Notice how the interpreted words have to be shown on the screen?
The investigations into 'backwards satanic messages' on metal albums do the same thing.
You 'hear' the message because the words are fed to you.

Even as a pedestrian I've almost been run over numerous times from negligent drivers. Usually it's middle aged women on cell phones running through red lights, but also I've been almost run down by spics speeding in residential neighborhoods and going wrong way down 1-way streets.

Fucking right? Monday I was walking to the gas station to hit the ATM and some spastic got RAGED about the fact that he had to wait 8 minutes because the pumps were full, I just hear tires screeching and this dipshit misses me by about 2 feet, didn't even attempt to stop, speed out into the street without looking, and almost T-bones another car.

I just yelled, "calm down bruh it's just gas" but fucking hell people are fucking crazy.

Dementia/Alzheimer's and being aware you are slowly losing your mind. It's a terrible way to go. You end up a rambling shell of the person everyone once knew, your every waking moment is fear of these strange new things you see and hear around you. There are fates worse than death.

Lockdown is crushing the normalfags' minds.

Just wait until the Great Depression 2.0.
