I think this is just her playing to the redditards since they're the face of the western fanbase. We've seen her specifically mention in members streams saying that she's tired of the horny meme. I'm sure she enjoys it to some extent because it allows her to lean into some of her more ecchi interests, but it has to be tiring to be known for "I"M HORNY!" and literally nothing else when you're a super talented artist, good singer, and can do professional level VA work. I would honestly be a bit sad if they didn't bother giving Ame an idol outfit. I know that when it comes to singing she's probably the weakest out of EN, but be it 2nd fes or be it Bloom she is always the most vocal out of the EN members about wanting to be on stage with the JP members. I'd honestly even go as far as to say even more so than Kiara. I think people underestimate how much of a weeb she is, even if she does a decent job at hiding it with her gremlin'ness.

That's kinda my take on it at this point.
Channels like these pop up like weeds and are worse clout chasers than ENVYtubers since their shit gets mixed in with clips through YT's recommendation algorithm--which does enough already since I learned about Keeki before the comments were turned off. It's fun to point and laugh, but I hope any drama that ensues upon them doesn't really spill over outside their circles. Eventually though the problem sorts itself out though when enough people know the roomate's identities and realize it's just a big open secret and nobody cares, but it's going to be slow drive there and it's going to get worse once the next gen of EN debuts.
Knowing how far she's come to get to where she is now is one of the reasons why I like her so much. She's expressed a similar sentiment before, but it probably sunk in more as she prepares to leave Japan.
