Those sleeping arrangements have always felt unsettling to me. Those kids just all seem very...off. On camera they all seem morose, especially Miah. And the other two...they are well past the stage where they should still be screaming like savages.

A-mee's gremlins are completely unsocialized. Pretty soon they're gonna be shouting "CHICKAPEE" Jodie Foster style at the local drive throughs and dollar generals until someone calls the cops and they have to sort that shit out. A-mee's fear of mandatory reporters is sadly justified, IMO.
This new info (well, new to
me, or maybe I blocked it out) that Awlee takes HIS LAPTOP TO WORK is extremely concerning.
It's like previous posters have said, it's not one thing, it's
all of these things: the laptop, the locked door, parents sleeping WITH children, no rooms or doors, the toadlet's unintelligible gibberish speech, drills and spoons and random
fire, and of course, Fat A-mee with her room-temperature-in-Celsius IQ sitting fatly at the top of the dungheap that is that "family". COVID has exacerbated the issues of domestic violence and other nasty behind-closed-doors issues, and I worry for vulnerable people like Miah in cases like this. He's got learning disabilities and is certainly treated like an indentured servant at best; without the watchful eye of a teacher all hope is lost.
I don't worry as much for Fat Amy Jr. or Omar Bernardo since they are savages and thus unlikely to be as affected because they are both her special Clomid Kids and likely to be as vicious and cunning as their parents, if not by genetics at least by environment.
At this point I too find myself frustrated by the limited reach of CPS, and their inability to use a bear stick on certain parents.
