I may go on about sentimental nonsense here but it's because i have to post so i will. it's the first thing that comes to my mind.
When i was young, (the late 2000's), the history channel, which is something i would watch often passively, never really paying attention, would always go on about ancient advanced technology. I never paid attention, because i always thought the idea that ancient civilisation had knowledge we don't and didn't preserve it is ridiculous. But then i heard of the antikythera mechanism, and the unintentional use of nanotechnology by the Romans to change the colour of their wine vessels and i changed my mind. I am on the conviction there is technology and discoveries of ancient empires we have no record of. It makes me tingle what certain people know of now.
We humans invented the SR-71 in the 60's. Just imagine what flies above our heads what we can't even believe exists today. I assure you, if the truth is out there, it isn't on the internet; ai botnets will whip the truth off before you can even see it. Makes you wonder what kind of world really lies beneath us, doesn't it? Only the worthy will ever know the truth. The truth hurts and it heals.
The older of us, i mean the really older, will remember the ibm/360. The younger, the BBC micro, the commodore, the younger of those youngers, apple II, Totse, the BBS days. But for me, the reminiscent days, that was playing Heli Wars. You might know the thing im on about. The infamous blocky platform. that game had a badge for finding the hidden cave.
CS;S. What a time i had on there. Sometimes iwish i could post my life on the internet so every little thing could be presereved and lived again. what else can i say?
garry's mod. i spent too much time on there. fell in love with some people on there. what can i say, it's sad but i'm young.
then the youtube days. when i had nothing but it. when it reads my mind. it reads yours too. this is the end of the road i suppose. i hope to leave a good legacy behind. i know i'm really losing it this time, there's something fucked up with my brain, i think it's a tumour or some shit. but either way we're all fucked and that's it really. the poor get poorer, the rich get richer, you know that story or you will know it.
Reddit. Fucking reddit. Ever heard of the dead internet theory? half of these things are going to get this website wiped off the face of google or completely gone soon. but i dont care.
