Apparently. The Stars stuff is non-USA only and it features 20th Century Fox-Studios and Touchstone content. If so, that’s bullshit it’s non-US only. That would be part of the Stars stuff right?
Do you guys mean Starz as in the movie channel? Because you can add that on to any streaming sub you have in the States.Apparently. The Stars stuff is non-USA only and it features 20th Century Fox-Studios and Touchstone content. If so, that’s bullshit it’s non-US only.

That was my first reaction as well. That just looks like stuff that's on Hulu and Disney+ comes in a package with Hulu and ESPN for about the same price as Hulu anyway.
Some stuff was apparently pretty far along in the pipeline when they canned it too. Shitty move on Disney's part.
That is absolute bullshit, at least let them finish it and then get the money from releasing it. I hope the old Blue Sky employees can get together and form a new studio. Some stuff was apparently pretty far along in the pipeline when they canned it too. Shitty move on Disney's part.
I get the feeling Disney's just going to buy out their contracts or force them into their in-house studio or Pixar. That is absolute bullshit, at least let them finish it and then get the money from releasing it. I hope the old Blue Sky employees can get together and form a new studio.
I already put my thoughts on this in the Western Animation thread:
On the other hand, Noelle "Flat-Tits" Stevenson won't be able to unleash another shitty woke cartoon onto the world, so that's a silver lining, at least. The first Ice Age was actually a decent movie, and they honestly should've stopped after that one. Their adaptation of Horton Hears a Who is probably the best out of all the modern Dr. Seuss adaptations (quirky ANIMU LOL ISN'T JAPAN WEIRD jokes notwithstanding), and The Peanuts Movie is honestly the best-case scenario for a "modern" Peanuts revival (seriously, I had low AF expectations for it, and I remember being blown away by how faithful it turned out to be, not only to the spirit, but the animation, in its own weird way). Dunno about Robots, haven't seen it yet (also, that is a damn unimaginative title). But aside from those, they ranged from "meh" (Rio), to "ungodly awful" (the aforementioned Ice Age sequels). Still, RIP, I guess.
More or less agree with everything you said. Blue Sky has had enormous potential, but it's been wasted on mostly mediocre to awful movies. Their three best movies are Ice Age (original), The Peanuts Movie, and Horton Hears a Who, in that order. Pretty much wouldn't bother with anything else, except Rio. But Rio is one of those "nothing is really on but I don't feel like putting in something or turning off the TV either" movies, in my opinion.I already put my thoughts on this in the Western Animation thread:

Neat. I've always wondered why they didn't just revive that format. It's pretty timeless and they obviously have no clue what to do with the IP.The Muppet Show is now on Disney Plus.
Unfortunately, not every episode is there - two are missing - but every episode that is is unedited. Not even the DVDs were unedited.
EDIT: Evidently I was wrong. There is one episode available in Europe but not here (but I do assume it will come here) and there are a few segments missing. Still, there are segments cut out on the DVDs that are intact on Disney Plus. That is a good thing.
They’ve tried. At least twice. But Disney is full of charmless woke hacks and can’t make a show people want to see. There was a reboot in the early 2000’s that stuck around for maybe two seasons before it fizzled, and another that was even less liked a couple of years ago.Neat.
