Makes the most sense to me. IF she auditioned awhile ago that would probably be a breach of contract that happened awhile ago that they just found out about, especially if she was successful. Pikamee mentioning supporting her if she turns up again plus in the same stream she mentioned Monoe leaving, rather than being fired, though that could've just been her awkward English.

Drugs come to mind. Japanese companies and Japan as a whole are extremely anal about them, even something as simple as pot.

Her instant termination may have been the only choice to protect the rest of the girls from police stuff, the mere possibility of which could easily turn firing Monoe into an "unanimous decision" from Pikamee/Tomoshika/Gyari.
Imagine Pikamee getting her house raided by overzealous Japanese drug police in the middle of a stream because one of her best friends / coworkers was caught puffing it. I see that as a real possibility if the drug rrat was to be correct, Japanese police acts like fucking gestapo when it comes to drugs.

In relation to this, a no-info silent termination would protect her reincarnation in the future, after she deals with the situation and returns to streaming. She is still their friend, and they're sure to allow her a new chance as a new independent vtuber. Japanese antis would never allow her to reincarnate if she was confirmed to have done drugs.

I can't chime into the whole VOMS stuff and this is a bit off but this is happening.

No doubt Dice is gonna be in the audience fangirling her fucking head off. So if anyone wants to join in and see Calli's roommate without the reaper persona then this would be it.

That and FAKE TYPE is just good and the entire reason she's in Japan in the first place.

Knowing the type of schizos that make up the bulk of Calli's fanbase, I have a feeling this won't turn out well.

If that were the case, they wouldn't fire her so suddenly like this. She still had stream scheduled for yesterday before cancelling it for obvious reason

random-ass question but why hasn't any vtuber done an English cover of King yet? There's already some pretty decent lyrics out there (which I've seen with a guy who doesn't seem to be a vtuber, a different vocaloid, and the latter but mashed up with We Are Number One)

I would imagine the point was that the individual talents couldn't afford the necessary shit like paying someone to make the model, the artists to design the character, face tracking stuff, etc. So having it be a company instead of indie made sense. Who knows though.
 
This sucks. I was a fan of Monoe and her streams were always super chill.

I wonder if they will replace her or if VOMS is a 2 girl crew now. Their trio streams were some of my favorites, so I’m not sure what to think.

Gyari didn't have any vtubers he liked, so he pulled a boss move and created 3 himself. It was to my knowledge a casual project (as indicated by the near total freedom the VOMS girls had, with Gyari only doing merch stuff), until they, particularly Pikamee, exploded in popularity.

Hoshikawa jump on the little nightmare train after everybody and their mothers play little nightmare 2.

The best thing is these stream happens one hour after the last so I can watch all of them live if I want to.

Just imagine the amount of "indies" that are actually affiliated with some secretive black company behind the scene. If your favorite indie starts doing something really weird, it could be some shitty corpos and not the actual talent.

I thought I could handle Pikamee crying, I was wrong.

There has to be a better way to let go of a streamer than the usual scorched earth "RRARRGH DELETE EVERYTHING" approach both Cover and Nijisanji subscribe to.
Freaking hell VOMS is such a tiny project, I would have never predicted this. Someone on stream mentioned this feels like having a friend you know for a while suddenly dying of a stroke.
