Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

US and china have a symbiotic relationship. Unlike any other two countries before. if one goes down so does the other but the USA started the relationship and has all the means available to regain lost power when the relationship goes sour. China is surrounded by enemy countries, is completely reliant on oil imports form the middle east, has poor geography and has a age top heavy population. Plus they are not the cheapest anymore. the Chinese people have got a taste of middle class life and wont let go. manufacturing will have to find new slaves.

America on the other hand has two neighbors and are allies and has two oceans separating it from the rest of the world. It can easily produce enough food to feed itself and has enough oil to run itself. China's best bet is to prop up the US and i think this is what they are doing with influencing Biden and so on. They will saber rattle about the century of the dragon but they cant directly challenge the US. Both countries would be knocked down a few pegs but the US would recover. china would not.

Still though, they're still playing to dominate and by bringing America to its knees, they'll fulfill the fantasy of every communist in the world. And if Biden is as much of a puppet as people say, what's to say they won't move to get more puppets in the White House and other lower levels of government? We're already outsourcing jobs to Hell and back, our entrtainment is bending over backwards to capture their market, the National Basketball Association is doing pretty much everything to keep its relationship with China from going up in smoke, so what's to say that they aren't going to move to make sure that they have things work in America like they do in China in ways they can get away with, like creating laws to crush opposition like what happened to Hong Kong or crate laws to ban taking the piss out of certain leaders like what the People's Republic does with Winnie the Pooh? Not only that, with how private companies are treated in this country, you can easily see Twitter or Facebook working to make a social credit system, the FBI and CIA having tons of people be collaborators as thy go after any resistance like Trump and MAGA, and places like CNN and MSNBC be the equivalent to state TV, and Fox News will be lucky to stick around as controlled opposition. Given how the left can get pretty much anything done and approved when wrapped up in enough flowery language, along with pretty much anything being handwaved/excused if it makes for good optics/PR and/or goes along with the approved narrative, you can easily have millions of people be pawns in your game of chess, unaware that President For Life Xi Jingping is working to turn the United States of America into the People's Republic of China in all but name. The CCP is dangerous, and if the world is on fire, their only concern is the chance to be king of the ashes.

That makes me feel a little better, but like hatred, pettiness can be a powerful motivator. Let's just hope that China isn't the kind that's willing to go down with the ship or doing something that'd ensure their demise if it meant being able to outlive their eternal enemies, even for just a microsecond or however long it takes to process something (I could say that same thing when it comes to Iran and launching nukes at the United States).

So what do they do with noncitizen nationals? The bill seems to acknowledge that they continue to exist, but replacing each instance of alien with noncitizen will expand the laws regarding aliens to noncitizen nationals.

But they define "noncitizen" as "anyone not a citizen or national." Which doesn't make any sense, since national includes noncitizens by definition. Are citizens and noncitizen nationals the same thing now? Then why include national as a category at all? Why not just declare them all citizens?

Honestly because the 1950s US did that a lot to leverage global power then never stopped doing that as their own internal economy started to shrivel up and die.

Yeah Iran hates the US -- but the US is killing itself; They would love a treaty that grantees free money for them and no attack by a desperate dying US. Again, they literally just have to wait, so they have no reason to 'nuke the us'; Besides nukes would just be used to ensure the US treats them as a sovereign nation instead of a potential target to invade.
