Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

So they’re actually going for a $15 dollar minimum wage, right now, in perhaps the ripe moment for large companies to simply automate, and the worst time for small businesses to accumulate the wealth necessary to cover the cost of raised wages?

Wages aren't keeping up with inflation and the cost of living keeps increasing. It has to be done at some point. People mad that burger flippers are making more should focus on why they themselves aren't being paid enough.

Oh I agree with the principle of increasing wages. The point is you need to take into account the current productivity of your nation, your future economic policies, and, as you pointed out, the rate of inflation when you want to raise them.

This is the worst time, because our economy is simply not as strong as it was a year ago, and if the jobs, public debt, and housing reports are anything to go by, it’s going to get worse before it gets better. I’d focus on raising employment opportunities (not a Job Guarantee) and/or reducing lockdowns.

The Paris Climate Agreement unironically allows China to increase its emissions for the first ten years before requiring them to reduce it, and even then has no valid enforcement mechanisms. The Paris Accords are a total joke whose only purpose is virtue signalling.
