They are pretty much a literal Kangaroo Court. They can apply fines and other punishments. Mind you they're not completely stupid, Devin Cousineau, the tribunal member that oversaw JY's complaints that the beauticians who wouldn't wax his balls were discriminating against a protected class. Instead she read him for what he was, dismissed all complaints and made him responsible to pay legal fees to 3 of the people he filed suit against.

Still, I wish they didn't exist. Far to often they are simply a platform for far left activists to REEEEEE about how discriminated against they are.
