As somebody who deals with medicine all the time, I can say I honestly don't give a fuck what she has to say on Monday. She lies about everything, so only the evidence of what her body is displaying or the numbers on her blood glucose meter (even though I know of several ways to fuck with this number) can be trusted. If she says she has diabetes, most people will believe it, but anything she says other than that is completely up in the air.

I have a chronic health issue and public health care ( no one calls it "socialized" only americans really) saved my life. It was a time I had no money and could not work had surgery and biological medicine treatment for free in my country doesn't suck but we also have affordable private care if you want other alternatives (including acunpuncture etc) at 400 euros per year because it competes with public healthcare they have to lower their prices.
I speak regurlaly with americans with my health issue that have no acess to the biological medicines because theit insurance won't pay or simply don't have an insurance and have to relay on samples. a simple medication like pulmicort costst 300 dollars here its 4 euro. But also our culture don't suffer from cult like nationalism so when we don't like something we say it and complain about it!

But again Texas is drowning in snow and one of Mayors speaks about people not receiving help because its "socialism" and they need to be reliant in the middle of blackout and no water and not to be "depend on goverment" Sounds like a severe lack of humanity. Its only when you are really sick you will apreciate healthcare... but not receive treatment because economics and insurances are above human rights healthcare and dignity is sad.

And again yes her treatment will be tax funded but for 1 Chantal there will be 10000 people with bad health issues that won't have to worry with money because healthcare is free or extremely affordable. Perhaps humanity should be above money in terms of healtcare, and basic needs. Just a thought but again I was just commenting on the canadian system reffering to another post. And yes we are at some extent spoiled free education, free healthcare in my country if we don't like we complain is our tax money! We don't sugar coat under a nationalism ideology.
