I'm pleased she has sterilized her hemaphrodite dog, and she's overjoyed to learn it had an internal uterus during the surgery.

If I thought that's genuinely what he believed he was seeing I'd have some sympathy. But since children doing tap is fairly normal as people have already mentioned is not really outrage it's just a performance.

Madonna's probably having a liquor induced flashback. I mentioned this a while back in another thread, but Madonna got blackballed off of Clear Channel radio (when radio was the only way to get your music promoted after MTV officially stopped playing music videos) in 2004 and her career never recovered since no one would play her new stuff.
Her most recent album was the latest in a long line of flops she's had and is no longer the "queen of pop". Also, she got fucked royally in a divorce where one of her biological kids told the court he wanted to live with his dad (Guy Ritchie) and had to DOUBLE the already outrageous amount of money she was forced to pay Ritchie (due to her not having a pre-nup) in the divorce settlement to get him to waive custody rights to force said son to live with her for the few remaining years before he became a legal adult and got the fuck away from her. And got told her fame meant nothing, as she was forced to spend the bulk of the lockdown in unspeakable agony, self-medicating with wine and pain pills (the later Madonna was using for the very first time in her life, as watching her contemporaries fall prey to doctor feelgood quacks made Madonna terrified of high end pain medications) as her long delayed full hip replacement surgery was canceled and Madonna told it was deemed "elective cosmetic surgery" by the hospital, which canceled it due to COVID.

Did people madea stinker out of this? Because reminds me of when Adele got divorced and she had to pay alimony to her ex husband and people begun to bitch about how her husband had nothing to do with her success as a singer and he didn't deserved that money.
But outside of that, Maddonna is probably living a hell of her own creation right now and even if i know it's bad for her, i cannot help but laugh.

I feel a degree of sympathy. Not enough to consider her Twitter post anything but immensely delusional but that's a rough set of things to happen to anyone.
In addition even if the stuff with Raising Malawi turned out to have some serious grifters involved I believe she did at least try to do some genuinely charitable work over the years. Like many celebrities she probably did not do a lot of research into what she was funding but some of it at least seemed to come from a well intentioned place.

1) born at a time when pretty much everyone would be considered a ”fundamentalist” by modern-day modernists' standards, and
2) is one of the most influential jurists of Sharia there was. Writing al-Ghazali off is like writing St Thomas Aquinas' contributions to Catholic theology off.

And according to this encyclopedia entry on him, he endorsed a move away from rational thought, which is part of what's kept Islamic nations mired in pre-medieval idiocy, by-and-large. There's also the fact that I'm not Muslim, and think that Islam is far and away the worst of the 3 Abrahamic religions.

As I've said elsewhere on the Farms I'm a pretty traditionalist Catholic, so I'm a bit skeptical of ”rationalism” and attempts to ”modernise” a faith by throwing out the bits that don't fit in with Western neoliberalism.
