SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

I can confirm this. At some point before I was banned, chat was reorganized and new mods were brought in, among them a bunch of site staff; Harmony, Woedenaz, IHP, Aismallard, uraniumempire, and cadavercommander/Sludge Thompkins (who isn't site staff.)

After this point they started punishing way more people for very little infraction -- the phrase "negative value user" (I believe introduced by cadavercommander) was thrown around to justify getting back at people they generally disliked, believed to be future trouble, or had literally anything going against them. For instance, during the SCPedo scandal, an RPC user was perma-banned for saying "Bright was involved with certain things" [this is an exact quote, or close to it; look it up in chat] in response to someone asking what was the drama all about.

Some people (among them Rounderhouse) justified this change by claiming it'd improve chat quality to remove people before they did wrong. I have no exact quotes here, so feel free to disbelieve me.
I doubt the truthfulness of Harmony’s document but I’m chiming in to say that all of this sounds accurate.

Well, that's disturbing. I guess it's confirmed that the clique took over SCPD at least, but I'm not surprised. The old SCPD mods clearly favored the clique, and there was already a lot of overlap between the two groups.

I do find it funny that there's an entire section about contributions to the SCPD subreddit though, since that subreddit is mostly dead. Not even an organized clique can keep that place alive, it seems.

At the very least this shows a concerted effort to reform SCPD, but as far as coups go, I still need some actual evidence to believe Roget's frankly extravagant claims. Literally just a single group chat saying "we are moderators we don't like the admins here's our plan to take over SCP"

For fuck’s sake, could you not have waited so long to post actual useful logs?
I was looking for them this whole time, I promise you that much. I posted this the second I found it because I had been stewing and kicking myself for lackluster screenshots to protect myself and how arrogant that was when I remember they were probably still sharing these Google docs with me

I don't doubt the truthfulness of Harmony's document, other than the usual doubt one should always exercise with anything based on subjective perception and opinion, i.e. obviously it's biased by the observer, especially in first person, but yes, all of this sounds accurate.

UraniumEmpire & Sludge (and LtFlops) were ones who we ignored as a voting bloc when we wanted to do something, I think Sludge quit and UE probably didn’t enjoy it but I am sure she had no idea how isolated she was. SCPD staff channels were always very inactive and quiet especially after we took over and all the real power brokering was in the yurt. I personally apologized to Flops so Sludge/UE, if you read this, I am sorry.

I'm not actually sure how the first log is supposed to prove the existence of Yurt as a conspiracy. It's staff chat logs from August 2017, almost a year before Rounder would even join the site, and it looks like it mostly just shows that Kaktus isn't very good as a Mod, which we already knew. Also, Roget/Harmony is an idiot and shared the edit link.

The second log is concerning since Woedenaz has never been staff and shouldn't have a say in how the site is structured, but it looks like it could also be for development of Black Highlighter? It's not really clear.

It’s early of us working together to show intent. The actual forcing out was done a few years later, but this was around our first try the first time Meta did the using historic material in this way iirc. If you look in my screenshots the unlabeled person cheering Caro on is Kaktus, he was very pleased to get a second bite at the Apple 🍏

BHL was an in-house Yurt project, that’s also how Dust Jacket for the WL came to be. I was the one who suggested he needed to rebrand from “nuSCP” and let him use the Dust Jacket brand to rehabilitate his CSS in the eyes of staff (and it worked) as far as getting it normalized. Dust Jacket CSS was nuSCP in different form, it made Wanderers Library have such a distinct and cool look others wanted to follow us and ss had no choice but to give way.

You are the definition of leaping before you look. Archive everything you hope to share because they are coming for it as we type.

If true, Woedenaz may have been given privilege due to his winning of the ClicheCon with that CSS job, it was around that time. I'm telling you, upvotes are an economy.
Noting that the document has already been deleted and staff are viewing it. I got to work as quickly as I could archiving staff comments and I saved 9 of them. Kameron is most likely Dexanote. The rest should be obvious.
I have already archived the full documents with comments, they are too late (for these three at least).

Hi SCP fucks!

Kameron is Dexanote and a quick Google search is pretty entertaining.

Looks like they only deleted the Metaphysician logs, so that's where the goods are, if any.

lol the Google doc is a shit chat right now. Turn on the lights and the cockroaches scatter.

Eh, in that case there's no reason for my post or my attempt at censorship. Harmony, please only post helpful stuff like this from now on. Please.

Edit: Nevermind I just checked and not all the comments got archived. Bringing em' back.
