1) Do you have more concrete info on this? I ask because Haruko Ichihara (the artist from Houseki no Kuni/Land of the Lustrous) was accused by antis of being a pedophile in RL because one of her first works featured a pretty weird story about a girl and an older man.

2) They used to obsess a LOT over him in the days when the Fates was newest FE game. And unsurprisingly, the fans reduced Niles only to his bisexuality and dark skin, even when there's more to him than that.

Yeah, thought so. iirc it's not the first time the FE fandom pulls this; they've been crapping on Toshiyuki Kusakihara (the lead designer and producer), Yuusuke Kozaki (the designer from Awakening and Fates) and Masatsugu Saitou (the chara designer from Xenoblade Chronicles, who also drew the DLC Celica art for Awakening) for a LONG time for similar shit: "WAAAAAAAAAAAA there's too much fanservice", "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA this MAN has drawn LEWD art before!!", "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA how dare my ~precious FE girls~ be TAINTED and SEXUALISED booo fucking hoooo".

It's pure entitlement mixed with a need to totally control their favorite franchise of the day and their own sexual hang-ups coming from wherever they do.

Yup, Google says it is. He also drew the Summer Laevatein from 2019, and his Celica even looks a bit like Pyra if you compare the two.

Checked Himukai's artwork and while he did draw Lucina quite younger than she actually is, pretty much all the peeps in his FEH artwork (mostly some kids from Binding Blade) look more or less like that. I do love his use of colors in his art, though.

Forgot to add that I've seen some people bitch about Miwabe Sakura's stuff too. Meh, seen better and worse.

Rate me late but not only are these in bad taste, but they're also just bad designs. Besides BPD looking exactly like the kind of person who'd self-diagnose BPD which is hilarious. But there's no way to make good character designs of personality disorders without falling into harmful stereotypes (which this artist already has, but seriously how would you even design a character out of DPD?).
