Just took a look at Chris' timeline and it seems like he didn't do anything for Bob's birthday, just one tweet responding to someone where he mentioned it, but there's also a memorial for his father who apparently shared a birthday with his eldest son.

This is pure speculation, but I can absolutely see 13-year-old Bob being pissed at his father over everyone caring about him turning 40, especially since teen years is when people stop making such a fuss for the kids. That'd also be around the time when Papa Chipman realised his son was definitely going to grow up and instead stay a child for as long as he could.

The fact that it's Bob's birthay makes me think... How miserable must Bob feel right now? We have said plenty of times already in this thread the inmense existential dread that Roberto has to go through his every day but today? Birthday is always an enormous realization for everyone that time is passing, a loud tick of the clock and the older you get, the louder it gets. If I recall correctly, the first thing Boston Dynamics did to try and get funding was advertise military application. From the drawing board the first thing that would be thought up is "put a gun on it" though for public they went with the more crowd pleasing "robot pack mule" approach.
