Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

A $15 national minimum wage, student loan forgiveness, and stopping deportations would all be disastrous policies, so at least those aren't happening -- at least yet.

These people are so dumb. It's mostly teenagers and young adults who think they know better than everyone else and can't comprehend that a $15 minimum wage isn't needed in most places, forgiving student debt isn't fixing the problem of too many low-IQ or middling people going to college for no good reason, and not enforcing immigration law is a bad thing. They just think that they want these things because they seem "just", and that's how things "should be".
The law of unintended consequences is something that we should all learn, but suffice it to say, none of these people have learned that lesson yet.

It's true that wages haven't really kept up with inflation, so a minimum wage hike sounds good on paper. In practice, however, that would put increased pressure on small businesses that operate on significantly smaller margins, forcing them to cut hours, lay off workers, or go out of business altogether. The megacorps that pay off the Uniparty would be fine, especially once more and more people would be forced to buy from them as their local businesses shut down. It also ignores the huge downward pressure on wages created by increased third world immigration following the 1965 immigration "reform," and it does nothing to stem the continued problem of illegal immigration, both from border hoppers and visa overstays.

I do find it bullshit that student debt is apparently this magical classification of debt that can't be cleared through bankruptcy, and it was certainly a mistake to get the feds involved in guaranteeing student loans. This is 100% a government problem, but a flat forgiveness of debt won't fix the underlying cause. If you cut off schools from that unlimited government money tap, they'll be forced to stop increasing tuition just to claim more money, and potentially have to trim back on all the unnecessary administrative bloat and random construction projects that they use to justify the increases. If you don't address this part of the issue, all you'll end up doing is having more waves of idiots with tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt for their useless gender/racial/bullshit studies degrees.

And don't even get me started on the sheer lunacy that comes from the open borders crowd. When they're not trying to guilt you into supporting it because "jesus said be compassionate in the bible somewhere," they're ignoring the huge problems that an unrestricted flow of migrants would cause, way more than we're already seeing. If years of the show Dirty Jobs proved anything, it's that there really isn't a single "job Americans won't do," so no, we don't need millions of third-worlders coming in to do them. Tear up those useless degrees and go learn a trade.

But in the end, all their bitching means nothing. They signaled loud and clear to the DNC that they could foist any suit on them they wanted, they'd vote blue no matter who. They let their burning hatred of the Bad Orange Man override their (possibly nonexistent) critical thinking abilities, and figured that the only thing they needed to do was get Trump out at all costs. Plenty of people tried to warn them that Biden was establishment Washington through and through (especially being from Delaware), spending decades keeping that gravy train chugging along, and that there was no reason to think he'd be any different now. But they didn't listen, and only now do they realize they're getting jack shit for their vote.

Congrats, morons. You finally made it to the real world. Maybe next time you'll learn to vote for someone and not against someone else, assuming that the DNC doesn't just rig their primaries again and stop Socialist Grandpa from being the nominee for the third time in a row.

Get out of here with your cis white racist mansplaining!
this magical classification of debt that can't be cleared through bankruptcy
Because the tax payers are putting THEIR credit up for it. Student debt isn't backed by ability to pay or secured, it's the tax payers saying "we'll foot the bill if they welch out on it" and I'm fine with not letting them do that.

Biden was establishment Washington through and through
Yeah... no. Bidet and his cum chugger are on a wild ass money grab letting their benefactors have what ever they want. They're like the crack head teens who broke into the mansion and are running around shitting the place up just because they can.

People thinking that any of these people spouting voters remorse are going to change their behavior in the future are naive as hell. The media will make damn sure to memory hole any bad shit he does after all we still don't know the motivation for Steven Paddo....................sorry what was I saying I just blacked out for 20 seconds.

The 15 dollar minimum wage also has a very insidious trap laid within it. If you raise the minimum wage to 15 dollars under the framework of "providing a living wage", what you're really doing is putting a cap on wages for low-end workers. The result is counter-intuitive to the general belief. If everyone at the bottom has to be paid such a margin-crushing amount, not only are staff and hours going to be cut like you and others suggest; you will ensure that those people remaining that do have jobs will never see another raise again. There will be no path to a higher wage or a promotion with better pay because by virtue of the justifications being used the employee is now "taken care of" and has enough income to cover their costs.

Class mobility in the upward direction will be diminished. Workers' rights will be diminished.

A minimum wage increase at the national level the likes of which is being suggested will kill the notion of working hard to get a better deal. You'll simply be working hard and you had better be happy you still have a job because you can and will be replaced the moment you step out of line or have the audacity to ask for more money. It puts a cap on how much the lower classes can earn and are allowed to earn.

Or forcing low end workers to have to get more qualifications to work at all. If they make the wages of burger pushers and medical techs the same (typically burger pushing pays $9 and med tech pays $12/hr)... why would you get a certification and spend your days changing adult diapers if pushing burgers pays the same. If I have to hire a burger pusher, someone who has worked as a medical tech has been far more reliable than your neighbor's idiot son who just wants a summer job. If I have a job that I HAVE to hire someone to do, why not take the person w/college instead of that idiot son?
