Chance had: diabetes, sleep apnea, sepsis. He had kidney failure twice. He was bed bound several times. And he had necrotizing fasciitis. He had one wound that wouldn’t heal. He was found dead one morning.

I don’t believe opioids had anything to do with it, and not sure where that rumor started, except some farmer said drugs were keeping him alive and maybe that got misinterpreted? Or maybe I missed something. Whatever the actual thing was, it was comorbidities of a lot of fat that killed him. Not sure a death certificate was pulled, but my guess is it’d be heart attack, kidney failure, or infection/sepsis again. Despite protestations that gaining was his kink, he was fat his entire live and had reached 500 lbs by high school.

Chantel, without the kink excuse, is going down the same road. She’s got apnea, had organ failure, clots, wounds that don’t heal, colitis, untreated diabetes...she’s going to end up the same way as him, undoubtedly. Ultimately when you are that sick it doesn’t matter which individual thing kills you..next day it could easily be something else. All of them are deadly and while we say this about all our fats, Chantel is not long for this world.

Surely though that would require VERY regular GP appointments at a minimum. I know in Australia you can only get a 30 day supply of opiods between GP appointments, and the dispensing practitioners have to call through to a government hotline to get approval. The government monitors how often each patient gets opiods, ensures a second doctor must sign off on scripts every few months, and only allows for a certain time frame before patients must attend an authorised pain clinic.. Even a 500mg paracetamol with a mere 5mg codeine requires prescription and is getting tough to get.

If she was having to go through regular appointments to get her pain meds (even phone appointments), I'd expect her recent "critical" diagnosis would not have escaped her stupidity as long as it has. I'll give her a pass on not absolutely confirming her diabetes diagnosis though, because that definitive diagnosis I believe takes two A1C tests that are a minimum 3 months apart. While most people would get the first results and at least start to change something, she's not going to accept the diagnosis until it is absolute indisputable medical fact. She's also listening to the softly, softly approach often used with morbidly obese patients, hence her processing the "even 8% weightloss will make a huge difference to your liver", as it will heal your liver. She doesn't understand these kind of comments are about making patients see that even small changes can make a difference when the overall task seems (and in her case is) insurmountable.

Certain pharmacies become aware of these doctors and refuse to fill their prescriptions. That doesn't stop them from driving from pharmacy to pharmacy and find one that's unaware of the doctor or doesn't care.

Something you said here reminded me of something I wonder about at times like these.

We all know that Clotso is a lying sack of shit, who will lie about the most mundane things for seemingly no benefit whatsoever (a trait she shares with other sociopaths)

However, we also have to remember that when she isn't lying, she is busy being stupid.

One thing about her stupidity is that it is broad-based and involves things people shouldn't be stupid about.

So when she says "I never vape, except on special occasions" on New Years' Eve, and then proceeds to engage in prolonged vaping on camera four other ordinary days in January, is she lying or stupid? When she insisted that she didn't have diabetes, was she lying or stupid? When she claims that she really doesn't eat all that much except on camera, is she lying or stupid?

She could certainly be lying about it all, in an effort not to incriminate herself. But she also could just be profoundly stupid about it. She might really be so absent-minded that she doesn't even realize how often she vapes, how much she eats, or how bad her condition is. I can see her telling the doc "oh, I only vape on special occasions like New Years Day" without meaning to be deceptive. She might really believe it; self-deception really can yield poisonous fruit.

This is why it will be impossible to treat what ails her, and why it is impossible for anyone to befriend her, work with her, give her advice, or even understand what the fuck she is talking about. Even if you slash your way through a jungle of her lies, she is stupid underneath. There is no worse combination in a person you want (or are obligated) to help, physically, mentally, or spiritually. From what she's said, the Canadian health system doesn't allow for doctor shopping. You have one GP (General Practitioner), I think I recall her saying she waited months to get a new one. Any specialists, tests etc require a referal from the GP. Outside of being able to make an appointment with your own GP, in an emergency you can attend an urgent care (which she did for her legs recently), or an actual Emergency Room. This kind of system pretty much rules out the prescription factories. Happy to be corrected though by anyone that knows the workings of the health system in Ottawa.

I realise it's probably a joke on your part, but she doesn't get out enough, or have enough contacts, to support an opioid addiction from the street vendors. As such I'm ruling out the opioid storyline.

I’m very curious about the vape and ‘gummies’ she takes and how this may be affecting her. As a foreign farmer I have no experience with legal weed and it’s potency / interactions with prescribed medications. Other than making her even more hungry than normal could this be harming her and is it something her doctor would ask her and take into account? Anyone able to enlighten my ignorant uncultured mind on this matter at some point would be appreciated.

Even gummies are a bad idea for her, a person who has no self-control when it comes to food. At all. Cravings are real and she would not be able to do the necessary brain-training to not clean out the fridge every time she gets the munchies. Hell, she doesn't need to partake and that happens and then she goes drive-thru hopping. THC lowers inhibitions and hers are basically ground-level already.

I can blaze a quarter-to-third of a spliff or vape one charge of the same dry herb with which I rolled the spliff. The SAME amount as the entire spliff. About 3-4 tokes will get me higher and do it faster than an entire vape charge but the raw spliff will make me cough. I've no physical issues other than old age and I take periodic "breaks" throughout the year during which I morph into a raging insomniac. So more usage of resources but supposedly "safer" and I have to agree with that, having done extensive experiments, my conclusion is that smoking a home-rolled joint of homegrown is raunchy on your lungs, but vaping the stuff from a carefully controlled heating chamber so higher-combusting toxins don't creep into your buzz and give you a pounding headache is much better but can still be detrimental to your breathing. And it can be expensive. I'm a cheap bitch and I grow my own so usage is not a problem. God Bless Justin Trudeau!
