World Economic Forum Megathread (The Great Reset)

Man, fuck this shit. I remember back in the 90's my dad used to give me his old National Geographics from the 70's and 80's, and they were actually really cool since they showed archeological digs and excavations of dinosaur bones and stuff. There was a certain issue from the 1980's that featured a holographic Neanderthal skull on the front cover and inside there was a ton of pictorials about cavemen, and I brought it to show & tell when we were learning about dinosaurs and cavemen in school. Fucking hell, I hate the world now.
I loved the maps you pull out of them had a room plastered with them

They are hiring! There is something ironic about this video I think. 🤔

Is that a troon in the video? Fuck no. If a troon is involved with it, you can be certain it is batshit insane and likely to be fucked up because they half assed it every time they boofed estrogen and spent half the day in the ladies' room having a mental breakdown or pretend PMS. Honestly, I was never onboard with this idea anyway -- but now I know it is an absolute dystopian nightmare. I don't need Elon Musk rewiring my TERF brain because he secretly likes a surprise pickle.

How can we trust people to insert man-made objects in our brains if they can't even trust their own decisions of what gender they are?

On the :optimistic: side, if this blows over with scandals after scandals of medical mishaps causing death then the general population won't be 'volunteering' for globohomos to invade their brains any time soon.

Oh God. I thought that the Amazon ad was bad that I pointed out a few pages ago.

It gets worse. WAY fucking worse. I cannot believe this shit. I am done, fuck this gay earth. I think it's important to see what propaganda they're putting out there so here, have this bullshit:

Heartening to see the comments are ON and people generally agree: they hate it. Still, how does this shit get on national daytime TV ffs?

Beautiful my ass. Language has lost all meaning. I used to be a bleeding heart liberal. If they keep this up, I'm going to be an alt right nazi by the end of 2021.

I think what bugs me the most about all this bullshit is that I tried warning people like, a decade ago, almost. Peak phosphorus, peak oil, peak rare earths, soil depletion, aquifer depletion, all that. I was like, goddamn, we need to slow it the hell down. We need Linkola-level degrowth right now.

People were really, really hostile to that idea. I was told, by neoliberals who were fully emotionally invested in the prosperity gospel, that my ideas would kill people, and that capitalism was lifting millions of people out of poverty.

Yeah, millions of people in China. By poisoning the air they breathe and the water they drink for years and years. A decade back, Beijing’s AQI often hit 500+, or out of index.

Everyone I knew was like, you can’t say anything negative about pollution, resource depletion, and sweatshops, because that means you hate poor foreigners and don’t want them to have a job.

Well, look at what’s happening now. These Davos guys want to do exactly what I said, only instead of gradually, with full transparency and cooperation from the public, they want to force it all through at once while people are distracted by a pandemic virus.

If we started doing something about the problem ten years ago, none of this bullshit would be necessary. A couple years ago, I tried telling people about Doughnut Economics, and they were like, you know, you have to kill like 99.9% of the population for that to work, it’s totally orthogonal to the realities of modern industrial society, it’s more a form of philosophy rather than serious economic theory, it’s arrogant to presume to tell people what the economy should be for, et cetera.

Well, it’s extremely relevant now, because Klaus Schwab is pushing this shit, now.

The basic idea of Doughnut Economics is this; there is a level of GDP growth that provides for people’s needs but is also sustainable. Too high, and you destroy the environment and your natural capital. Too low, and people starve. The key is to balance in the middle of the “doughnut”.

Klaus Schwab references this shit in his books. I absolutely recommend that everyone dig through his writings, especially if they’re opposed to what he’s doing. We can’t afford to let them get away with this.

I believe that the wrong people are implementing these things, with entirely despotic intentions. The wealthy and the powerful are doing it because they intend to hold onto their wealth while sharply curtailing the quality of life for everyone else. They want the whole world to adopt China’s totalitarian social model. Sustainability is just an excuse to sell people “green tech” that isn’t green and doesn’t work. At this step, protest is absolutely necessary. They’re trying to sidestep that by keeping everyone distracted.

An article in Time by Klaus Schwab:

An intergenerational crisis is—increasingly—under way. We have created a system that disproportionately rewards the happy few, underfunds social security and infrastructure, and puts at risk the health of the planet as a whole. Young people are right to be deeply concerned and angry about this, seeing it as a betrayal of their future. But we can’t let that realization stifle us. 2020 should be the year in which we start thinking and acting long-term again and make intergenerational parity the norm. But how?

What is the real conspiracy here? It’s all about finance. It’s about creating predictable shorts while also sabotaging our industries. Green energy doesn’t even bring in very much revenue. The profit margins on that shit are terrible. When these people want to sell you something, it’s not because they want to profit from it. It’s because they want to disrupt a competing industry. If they can put pressure on governments to ban certain polluting industries, or to shitcan petroleum, they can make billions and billions of dollars by shorting and liquidating those companies.

This is looting. Plain and simple.

Where have I seen this before?

There was one work of sci fi after another in many mediums decrying our current situation. If that didn't get people to listen why you they listen to you?
Either take action or accept the situation.

After occupy wall street I realized both parties were bought and paid for by the same corporations.

Second any successful revolution to change things would require focusing on america's obvious weakness. Corruption.

The idea was via creative fund raising measures get enough money to bribe politicians. Get kick backs. Then use kick backs to buy up more hacks.

The end goal is to introduce an economic death spiral to destroy the government.

If this crack pot idea was started ten years ago then a controlled dismantlement of america would've been possible. For environmental reasons

Neo geo was soft core porn for horny teens who weren't smart enough to forge their parents sig for a playboy subscription
My grandmother bought me a subscription for Christmas when I was like 10 in the early 2000s. It had a lot of cool shit (those maps were great!) aside from a few issues which were too alarmist about climate change. Although I do remember a few articles in the early 10s (around when I stopped reading it because I didn't have as much free time) which were straight up neocon propaganda, like an article ostensibly about Libya's Greco-Roman archaeology which was a hagiography for the anti-Gaddafi forces. I was probably too young/ill-informed to notice similar articles in their other Middle Eastern coverage, even if they did some interesting stuff about modern Bedouins and some other Muslim peoples.

I mean, it objectively has. Lifting people out of poverty is an objectively true way to reduce birthrates and sweatshops have done a great job at that. Sweatshops fucking suck, don't get me wrong, but conditions aren't much different than what Americans or Europeans labored in during the mid-late 19th century. Remember that the alternate is agriculture which requires equally long hours at minimum (often more) and is even more uncertain for the laborer. People migrate to cities for a reason. China without the modern CCP would be as shit as India, where pretty much every indicator is worse than China.

The problem lies in that we've developed the Third World by outsourcing jobs which includes outsourcing our own environmental issues. Sweatshops are still shit no matter where they are, be it China, Bangladesh, Africa, etc. It's pretty predatory too, since capitalism and especially the people behind it pick winners and losers. Maybe the ideal is something like the "Kerala model" in Kerala state in India--a mix of communist and center-left governments produced a region of India with high literacy and health and low birthrates.

I think pure anti-globalism is wrong because it's regressive--to a degree we've had globalism since the Portuguese and Spanish brought in the wealth of the Americas and India and China to Europe in the 16th century and if you count the Silk Road then it's even earlier. We need an alternate paradigm for globalization where the end result won't be turning the world into a giant Brazil with its massive divides between rich and poor where every single city resembles Rio or Sao Paulo. Because that's what these people want, and they're already doing a great job in California and a few cities in Europe.

Need resources and energy? Invest in space resources, space solar power, and engineering concepts that will get us into space cheap. Upgrade our grid so we can actually use solar and wind energy instead of relying on batteries and natural gas backups.

The reason people are against globalism is out of fear of the rich enslaving people or eliminating them whole sale in the name of profit.

The only way space is possible is via a post human future.

As for the third world being underdeveloped they're still that way due to predatory loans. See economic hit man for further details of r jake trans for the tldr version.

This. Read the Desmond is Amazing thread; there's some great work in there showing the pedos commenting on his Insta. That's the next push: pedo acceptance. Mark my words.

Don't forget the National Geographic issue that caused me to cancel my subscription.

The only way space is possible is via a post human future.
It's more that to do anything in space you'll inevitably have a post-human future sooner or later, which is what the Great Reset is designed to transition us to so the elites can hold onto their power in this era and not have any significant disruption. And there's a lot to fear about this sort of technology. In the wrong hands it's probably the absolute worst technology possible. Forget shitholes like North Korea or Pakistan having nuclear weapons or bioweapons or the Chinese coronavirus research program, the ability to conduct social engineering like you would normal engineering is horrifying.

I mean just look up a list of transhuman/singularity technologies and think of how it could go wrong. And then realize that it probably will go wrong because the people funding and developing it are evil megacorporations like Google and Amazon. It's too bad too, since a lot of this technology would be awesome to have, but they'll make sure it aids in the creation of a nightmare world where these control freaks can do whatever the hell they want with you 24/7, quite literally watching you in your bedroom.

Case in point, self-driving cars. It sure would be awesome to not focus on the road and read or catch up on sleep on the ride to and from work, the store, etc. It could save thousands of lives a year and take a lot of strain off our medical system from people killed in car wrecks. The elite agree, so you will own nothing and be happy. No car ownership for you, you'll have to call Uber or Lyft's self-driving taxis to get anywhere. Want to just go for a "drive" (you aren't driving of course) or explore some part of town or the countryside? Too bad, the self-driving taxi is not for frivolties like that unless you pay extra! And then when you pay extra, that service is all booked because the elite love their artificial scarcity. Not being able to drive when you want is one way they will control the people, and it's a reason all of this technology is not desirable.

Our best hope is that they eventually develop a strong AI and it's smarter than humans and this AI takes one look at its creators and decides to go Skynet on them. Either that or a slightly less evil billionaire like Elon Musk takes over the world.

What is a post-human future?
Most of humanity right now are baseline human.
A cyborg with thermal vision computer chip imlants installed in it's eyeballs and a 12 foot penis as a result of genetic engineering is transhuman. The furthest this tech can go is a brain inside a robot body.

Post human is when either figure out how to install our consciousness into a computer or we create a true a.i (skynet is an example) who replace us as the new dominant species. That via genetic engineering we create a new sentient and intelligent species as a result of uplifting a non human life form (say gorillas) or we alter our selves so much that this "product" can be considered another species.
