Not just "Uneducated" or "Sheltered" dumb, Noooo. Those are just a starting point, it's entirely possible for someone who is uneducated to educate themselves. Someone who is sheltered can learn how to function in society.
No, Lou is Dumb in the worst way - He's too dumb to learn correctly. He is not mentally capable of learning in a way that will benefit him. He can't learn from his actions, he can't self-reflect correctly, the basic logic parts in regards to understanding stuff such as "Diabetic means Sugar = Bad" or "Don't gloat about iPad after begging for $600" is simply a foreign concept to him. There is a total disconnect in his reasoning skills.
So, Lou acting like he isn't the dumbest fuckstick in the room is comedy gold to me.
