I'm no woman, but isn't the clitoris extremely sensitive? Similair to the head of the benis?

But smaller, so more compressed, so even more sensitive? Isn't that one reason why the clitoral hood exists?

Wouldn't digging out the clitoris, increasing its size, forcing it out and open all the time... be extremely uncomfortable and painful? With it chafing against the underwear and all?

Not really on the last part afaik. Enlarging it makes it less sensitive because it spreads out the nerve endings (or at least that's how it was explained to me). The penis is essentially a masculinized clit-similar shape and functionality. The clitoral hood is much like the foreskin. Like guys who get cut, they just become desensitized or used to it being exposed. I imagine at first it's a problem, but it shouldn't stay a problem.

I don't know that much about female SRS, but when they do the topical testosterone and/or HRT, the clitoris actually grows into that penis shape on its own and the hood just sort of retracts along with it since there isn't much skin there to begin with.

The added surgical procedures, I wouldn't know about much of that or the effects on the genitals, but the hormonal route explains itself once you know how it works more or less.

Maybe it's because few people talk about micropenises unless it's to make fun of them. Or maybe it's for the same reason some MTFs want massive boobs even though flat chested women exist. Most people want to be conventionally attractive.

No kidding! The penis-size obsession is really strange and almost comical.

I've been reading more about metoidioplasties in particular since I find them morbidly fascinating. It seems like HRT by itself can enlarge the clitoris to a size of 1-2 inches. Combined with metoidioplasty, FTMs can get a 2-4 inch clit (varies a lot apparently). But even then, many of them are not satisfied, so they try using different techniques and devices like penis pumps to increase their size. :cringe:
