It baffles me that Len has stayed out of jail for so long. He has no understanding of consequences. I want to know why it took so long for him to go over the edge.
Len is his own self-contained lolcow, and depending on how August 10 turns out this train is reaching the end of the line.
That's the thing. The train isn't reaching the end of the line. For the exact same reason that Len has no understanding of consequences. Despite all the whining about how we incarcerate too many people for too long (and we do), the U.S. justice system is basically all or nothing (a decade plus in prison or a slap on the wrist). And since Shaner hasn't dealt drugs or committed a major felony (until now), he's always managed to stay on the "nothing" side of things.
He is not going to get any jail time for his trespassing and reckless endangerment charges. He
might get a week or two of "shock time" if he seriously throws a tantrum at the judge. But that's it.
And Mayerson isn't going to do anything about the impersonation business because (and this is perfectly fair), the police really won't care too much (too many man hours to prove a relatively piddling charge) and he'd rather get on with his life.

That's why I lost my temper earlier. Yes, Lennay's a ridiculous fucktard. Who is fun to laugh at. But he also genuinely messes with people's lives (CRR, the pizza place girl he harassed, Mayerson) and it isn't funny. Rather suspicious that Hy has had "difficulties" with Facebook in the past & that his son thought you were wasting his time. Does this mean Hy has chimped out on Facebook before? Fuck, this is so weird! It just raises more questions than it answers.
Several other agents of the Lenspiracy have spent significant energy (seriously) combing through Mayerson's old posts. And while he is certainly eccentric, he seems neither senile, nor aggressive. And certainly not capable of the display of pants-shitting glory we witnessed earlier today.
For a variety of reasons, I am now fairly certain that Len has, somehow, improbably managed to actually hack someone.
It's a brave new shit-stained world.
