Her previous outfits fit more in line to her profile of a "diva reborn in the virtual world." That's my only complaint otherwise I'm really digging her redesign.

I think that they gave her this outfit so she would fit in more when doing idol-like content in the future. Collab songs with the HL members or at concerts. It is still certainly different enough to be eye catching among all of the baseline white. She'll probably revert to her diva/hatsunemiku style outfit in solo 'diva' music ventures.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say with AZKi's new outfit that any hopes of Calli's idol outfit (Which is probably still a years away at best) being any different are dashed.

I honestly don't mind the new outfit though, but that's mainly because this one doesn't have obnoxiously large fucking clown shoes.

Edit: So I'm watching Uto's Resident Evil VII playthrough. Is the Japanese version incredibly censored or something? Or is it just an option she has on to be less graphic for YouTube? The protagonist's hand doesn't get chainsawed off, the cop's head doesn't get shoveled in half, etc.

That 3rd one is just so off on the baseline color scheme of the previous two. They also took an otherwise mature-looking model and redesigned it into this... teenage girl.

Frankly, I'd have less qualms with this if they just announced that they were graduating AZKi and redebuting her into a new model. The fact that they said it was a "new outfit" and then gave us this is where the dissonance is coming from.

Azki's previous designs were angular and had sharper lines. New one has more rounded elements to make it look more moe and 'cute'. That's also why the older design looked more mature in comparison.

I wasn't aware of it, but I like her 1st design. I actually think the second design is kinda shitty and it's probably the big reason I never dug into her videos. I'm sorry, but it looks like some slut from the 70s Marlon Brando was banging during his AIM phase, like the shitty native chic in Shadowrun.

Idol outfit is blah though. It's just kind of a mess of layers and ruffles like she stumbled drunk through a doll cupboard. It probably would look pretty striking in a line-up with the others though.

Overall, I'd like AZKi to have something that could get more eyes on her though. Only recently got into her music despite following Hololive for a year now and that was thanks to Sora getting more involved. If something more vanilla helps pull people in, that's probably ok.

It took me quite a long while to get used to those bangs on Miku and even then it still doesn’t really fit quite right with her still imo.

According to gametyrant, most for all Japanese ver. of Resident Evil all censored, even the remake but you can switch with uncensored edition but the gore on it it's being tone down. It's all being reveal for purpose to not hunting down the japanese gamer mind and Japan censored law of the game are pretty strict.
