Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Putin’s thing is holding onto power and maintaining his little kingdom like most politicians. As long as nobody encroaches, there won’t be any problems, at least when it comes to foreign policy.

The chinese government is deep into BTC. IIRC they are the main miners of it now.

It is not from any ideological sentiment, it's an economic one. Putin rules Russia, not governs it. It is corrupt shithole, not well suited for international investment, a horrible human and civil rights record, and butts heads with US foreign policy. Putin hasn't made a strong Russia, he has made one where he is in control. His international actions are to inspire confidence in the shrinking population of Russia.

For the international actors that want to see change in Russia, they wouldn't care if Navalny is a transgender furry or a Islamist connected to 9-11; he is the largest opposition to Putin. In order to gain access to Russia, you have to get past Putin, so you have to support the person who has the best chance of defeating Putin.

I mean, yeah Biden lied his ass off and you were stupid to believe him.

But I hate the woke phrase of "meaningless incrementalism". We have been make slow and steady progress on civil rights for centuries. The Civil Rights Act passed after a lot of our parents were even born. But these spoiled brats just keep screaming "GIVE US EVERYTHING WE WANT RIGHT NOW OR YOU'RE EVIL!!!" and then nobody cares. You are hurting your own cause and are too dumb to see that.

Well, people talk about things like "black experience" and "black excellence" and there are things holding blacks and other minorities down that's deeply rooted in society, and that's why they have to fight for the utopia where these people can thrive.
