General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Speaking of bandwagon, Watame's starting her Undertale playthrough. I honestly haven't watched any of the other ones since I figured she'd inevitably play it sooner or later. I've been looking forward to it though, never played it but from what I've heard it sounds like something that was made for her.

And I know it's been posted a few pages back, but as a reminder, Uto will be soloing Phasmophobia at midnight JST/in an hour and a half.

Ohhhh at midnight. Someone else said 12pm JST and I thought oh, noontime.

What's the policy, if any, regarding using PPSSPP? A small indie PH vtuber I follow, Hanami Arisa, did a LocoRoco stream using it.

New Ghost and Goblins HD Remake. It's the game where Gintama man talked about Pekora with his buddies. Even got one of them into vtuber hole(think it was Josuke VA, he appeared in Roberu and Rikka stream as guest
Nah, Sugita was playing Super Ghost and Goblin, this is the second remake that thing has, the first one was for the PSP, i still found hilarious that the first comment he made about Pekora (before this video) is he complaining about her dropping her verbal tic, i dont know if it was him who made Ono fall in the rabbit hole but im sure he is pestering Nakamura with it

A quick Google search and Coco is just a normal name.
I dont know where but here it is not, is just the name we call the Coconut

The bugmen do know that she isn't really named Coco right? And she's not a dragon either. They do know that right? I kind of get why they're so angry now after being fed a false narrative by Hololive.
Before kson switched her chat to members only the comments were filled with spam from "Americans" begging her to apologize to china for being in the wrong. How anyone could look at ..
1. an obviously fake name
2. terrible grammar
3. the same message copy pasted and
4. china worship
.. and think that it looks even remotely convincing is beyond me. I honestly think their shitty, smoggy atmosphere results in not enough oxygen for their brains, hence every one of their "attacks" being laughably ridiculous

Man the dagger is playing some weird shit just 5 minutes and we have someone talking about doing a flip

How have Tomoshika and Pikamee been holding up since Monoe's swift termination? If you or someone else happen to know.
Haven't checked out any of Tomoshika's streams but Pika's first stream after Monoe's firing was business as usual. I tuned in in the middle of her laughing and telling chat she adopted a secret cat that she hasn't told her mom yet. She seemed back to her usual self.

i really want to know the backstory behind this video. this is so bizzare to me.

Sounds like a white girl that got paid by bugmen currency to say roundabout shit about the name Coco. TF is this highschool bullshit?

Now even Moona is doing Papers Please. Guess vtubers are no different from usual youtubers in that they take note of or talk to each other regarding what content works and then they sorta bandwagon on it.

Can be a bunch of reasons, one being that a lot of their game permissions likely have expiration dates and from a content standpoint, it's better to play the "in" game that everyone's playing now rather than later before viewers/audiences get tired of it. There's also now a thriving content ecosystem of clippers around specific game content so if you're playiing it around the same time as everyone, a clip of you playing certain a funny in-game scenarios (like dealing with Jorji in 'Papers, Please') is likely to get included.

The CCP can stir-fry a log of shit in szechuan sauce and tell them it makes their pp go bigger by half-an-inch and they'll happily eat it. That's the kind of indoctrinated stupid we're dealing with.

Reminder, the fucking rhino is endangered because Chinks can't fix their erectile dysfunction due to how ugly their women are.

Crystar is..interesting haha. It deals with a lot of death, depression, suicide and stuff like that. Never beat it as it got way too generic and spammy. Kind of surprised to see a holo playing it. Didn't seem like a good stream game to me.

I guess the loli playing the loli game kind of makes sense.

It has been fun at the very least from seeing the different playstyles of the various members and seeing how they do (Marine stomping everything and genuinely loving the game to the point of hating everything she did during the Genocide run, Rushia killing everything then feeling remorse once Sans judges her at the endgame, Kanata taking notes on a notebook for the Papyrus colored tile puzzle only for the gag to hit her full force). I know people rag on the "everyone plays the same game at the same time", but short games like this give you a chance to see why exactly you're watching, the streamer's personality.

Technically as long as they own the game officially, the use of an emulator is entirely legal. I believe some in Hololive have used them in the past before (before they hit it big though). I mean Nintendo has used unofficial emulators in their own hardware.

Edit:
Nintendo nor any of those companies use those emulations we find in the internet. They built their own emulation devices.
I was wrong about it being Nintendo, it was Sony. The point still stands.
